By the way, can someone explain how Mortus Strider and Deathrender is an infinite combo? Just sounds like a resilient creature to me. Together they do nothing and even if you have a sac outlet to loop him entering the battlefield it still does nothing unless you have something like a Pandemonium effect.
You would still need a way to sacrifice Auramancers. The effect doesn't trigger on the removal of the last counter, it triggers when it hits the bin. Plus the deck still needs a way to get Hulk on board ideally Turn 3.
The Vanishing actually contains a triggered ability that causes the permanent to be sacrificed when the last counter is removed.
I'm not sure I understand how Lost Auramancer fits in. I get that he fetches Hive Mind but if you sac him with counters on he does nothing, so you have to wait 3 turns.
Must have meant Lost Auramancers and Vampire Hexmage.
Tallowisp suffers from lightning bolt syndrome :(.
I used to run a Tallowisp/Geist deck and found that a combination of Shining Shoal and/or Disrupting Shoal really helped to protect Tallowisp without giving yourself a card disadvantage.
So it's fine to create off topic threads in the wrong section of the forums as long as it's a holiday and make mention of that as well as our topic of discussion?
I think you answered your own question. There are more than enough Sliver cards available for making a Modern sliver deck. Other tribes are probably more competetive but slivers are definitely viable.
Unfortuantely, a suspended card is in exile and is not a permanent.
Tooth and Nail
Scapeshift
Gifts Ungiven (sort of)
Goblin Charbelcher
Someone mentioned Hellkite Charger with Bear Umbra. Sword of Feast and Famine also works in place of the umbra.

Well reimagined for sure as a werecreature that didn't really transform as per the mechanic would be totally out of place.
Maybe a functional reprint of Didgeridoo, since the Australian aboriginal culture doesn't realistically mesh with the Greek of Theros.
