So dragons with feathered wings...and in the case of that one 2 sets of wings

As long as im not given wyverns and told they are dragons, i can let some... variations slide.

Ethan, please step up with the dragon designs... They're too linear, too Limited looking/feeling...

More of Hoarding Dragon style dragons and less Shivan Dragon dragons...

In all honesty, theres little that a dragon has not done, especialy in mono red.

Incomming tibalt 2.0. But no, what plane would offer a good red walker? A mirrodin one would be nice. Im also half hoping for a werewolf/wolfir walker.

edit: i had half hoped to see a Ludvic, im fairly certain he is blue sadly enough.

Not a half bad card, play it post combat. If 1v1, then they attack into you and you get free reign for your attack. If in multiplayer, it can make attacking awkward and firebreath enemies to help take out threats. Not the greatest of dragon, not the worst.

Wouldn't the Lithomancer be a walker we know but not by name?

Still timing restricted i believe, since it gives you this turn to use them....

As I see it there are two possibilities - either you only get haste if *all* of the two mana is spent on the creature (meaning you can't give haste to something that costs 1RR at all), or you get haste if *any* of the two mana is spent on the creature.

I kind of read it as if the mana this card produced is used on a creature, but i can see the alternative that this mana (plural) has to be used. Wow thats odd.

In magic we say "RTFC", but really the wordings and rulings are so nuanced it takes a judge ruling to sort it out.
"If that mana is spent on a creature spell, it gains haste until end of turn."
This would indicate only 1 creature. Otherwise it would read, "If that mana is spent on creature spells, those creatures gain haste until end of turn."
See what I mean? Damn confusing.

It says it because you only summon one creature at a time. With my 2 mana, I use one of it to summon X, X now has haste and i can proceed to summon another... at least how i see it.

It looks a little bland, then you realize we are getting the new sliver land to help pay for it, he will make mutavault ind, and if they reprint hivestone... watch for it!

Ashiok is total garbage in terms of competitive play. He has been a fridge sideboard card at best since he doesnt guarantee to do anything. Any planeswalker that doesnt net immediate value the turn it hits the board isnt usually very strong, especially when a Heros Downfall or Dsphere will clean it up. Trading 4 a mana card for a 3 mana card isnt usually ideal.

While I do agree that its good for ramp decks, 2 loyality means its very weak to burn spells. Strike, Boros Charm, Helix all kill it unlike Jace. It even dies to magma jet if you minus it If you have a creature out and a mutavault, they cant even defend against both. Its basically a 4 mana ramp spell most of the time since if they kill it, it was 1 for 1. I really dont think that will be much better than a Satyr or Mystic since Mana dorks are cheaper and accomplish similar things.

Who +s jace? Very few that i have seen, and only when they are already far ahead. Jace, against a single threat, does much worse at protecting himself. While she doesnt dig 3 deep with a chance of 2 cards, the mana ramp is useful for her colors. also, you can use both in the same deck? In a format with dreadbore and downfall, its largely irrelevent how much loyalty a planeswalker has.

She comes out, she protects herself, she can draw and drop a land for you to help your board state (landfall fun), and her emblem is kinda awsome. She better then the Ral i love so much sadly. She does everything simic wants and none of her abilities are a waste.

This is just my opinion (and for that very reason could be completely wrong) but obviously Development had to have done some extensive testing to only have her start at 2 loyalty counters. Kiora must have been doing some serious work in the FFL, as it just seems like the kind of card that could have been at 3 or even 4 counters without an issue. The rest of the set has yet to be spoiled, so keep an eye out, as if decks start to rely more and more on one finisher (ie; AEtherling) then this kid will be absolutely bonkers.

She is pointless vs aetherling. Target aetherling, and either in response or at the end of a phase, bounce him and he is no longer affected. she is however good vs polukrano, stormbreath, and many other. Honestly, she can hit Emrakul with it (though you still get annihilator 6d).

Pure curiosity... duel spell cards... count as one... or two? Ditch a burn and get +2?

The only way I can wrap my head around this is if they change how Aura's resolve when their target is destroyed. It's too hard remembering that Bestow works completely different than normal Aura's, with no hint of this different mechanical nature on the card. I know I will lose so many games this coming year because of this.

I wouldn't mind the Aura resolving, then going to the graveyard, instead of just going to the grave from the stack, because then Bestow would work exactly like every Aura, instead of causing me head aches.

The only thing that is really changed is it doesnt suffer from no-valid target. Target a creature, it gets removed, then it becomes a creature instead. Normal enchantments contantly go through a "enchanted" check (atleast, in my mind). Normal enchant-creature enchantments, at any time they are not enchanting a creature (as they come in, or if they are destoryed with them), they go to the grave. With the nifty bestow feature, if at any time it does not enchant a creature, it becomes one instead with all the abilities it was... well... bestowing.

I am rather rotten at explaining this hah.

If you read it, it says if it isnt attached to anything, it is a creature. Enchantments only blow up because they dont have that feature, so when the creature is removed, before or after the enchantment comes in, it becomes a creature. So you can make one guy voltron, give him 5 bestows, and when he dies, bam, 5 creatures....

i think i just made a new deck idea...
