Whoops, you’re right on that card printing. My bad!
The infinite combo with Jace and Kefnet is a funny one.

Apr 10, 2019I have gone back and forth on the new Ral. When he's better than Jace, he's much better. When he's worse, he's a lot worse. Weighing him up in all situations, I think he comes in at just slightly worse. I would say that I think he's better than Chandra in any situation though and wouldn't consider running her again (I know she was an unpopular choice in the first place, I just think he's strictly better than her).Posted in: Combo
Apr 8, 2019Ah, I was looking for something like Revoke Existence, but couldn't find it, good call.Posted in: Combo
The only thing that I like about Act of Authority it is has that 2 for 1 potential. They have to answer it to play a second or it pulls a second card out of their hand in order to continue on in their strategy. Revoke Existence is probably the card you're wanting here though.
Mar 26, 2019Good call out for the “red deck wins” matchups. I’ll definitely adjust on that front.Posted in: Combo
What have you disliked about Mission Briefing? I’ve loved how it digs up to two deep and repeats a spell (I’ve loved casting the suspend cards from the graveyard with As Foretold).
Mar 26, 2019Haven't played this deck regularly for years (Cascade version). Looking to shift to Electrobalance and run this at FNM in a week. Curious on some feedback from your personal experiences. You'll notice I'm going quite deep into combo consistency over raw power.Posted in: Combo

Mar 17, 2019That’s happened many times. Premium versions of Reserved List cards being one of those times.Posted in: Modern Archives
They get away with it because people don’t want to walk away from an investment... well, and that the game is such a blast to play.
Mar 17, 2019Just thinking out loud - arent GPs more frequent nowadays than in 2015? IF that is the case, then it’s not a complete 1:1 comparison, but still interesting to see.Posted in: Modern Archives
I could be wrong on what I’m remembering though.

Wanted advice for rotation. What would be the best deck (excluding gates) to build that would be the least impacted from the rotation this fall?

Agreed to an extent. If you look across the ways that aggro has expanded the axis in which it can attack:
1. Uncounterable (Vial & Cavern)
2. From the Graveyard (Dredge)
3. From the library (Collected Company)
4. From the hand (Burn)
5. With protection (GDS, Spirits, Humans)
