What do people mean when they say Sigarda looks haggard? She looks exactly the same, just with her hair down.

Compare the two arts. In the AVR art, she looks stern, but fair. She's resolute and knows what she's doing, ready to fight to protect her host and her charges. In the SoI art, her hair is down and unkempt. She has a look of exhaustion and almost defeat on her face. Her scythe is not in an attack pose, more of a "stay back or I'll have to hurt you" position. The overcast sky and the glow from her eyes make it almost look like she is crying because she doesn't know what to do anymore. Her beloved sisters have gone crazy, her god, for lack of a better term, is now attacking those she swore to protect, likely her own flight have turned on her. Now, the humans she protected for so many long centuries are fighting her sisters, and she doesn't know when they'll turn on her, if they haven't already. Until we're told otherwise, Sigarda is the only sane angel left on Innistrad right now. So yes, she's looking a little haggard in that art, but she's still doing her best to maintain composure.

You're seriously imagining things. Aside from her eyes glowing and letting her hair down(not unkempt at all) she looks exactly the same. Still no expression or emotion on her face. Still wearing the same armor. Still sporting the same weapon.

The -3 is actually just the Seek half of Hide // Seek so it's definitely in the realm of WB.

There are still things they can do with a WB 'walker that they haven't done with Sorin yet. Just because both of his WB cards are pretty samey doesn't mean a third one has to be. None of the Sorin cards have touched on the WB concept of balance. It could be something like

    Sorin, Blah Blah Blah 3WB

{+1} Target creature gets -2/-2 until end of turn and another target creature gets +2/+2 until end up turn.
{-3} Search target opponent's library for a card and exile it. You gain life equal to its converted mana cost. Then that player shuffles his or her library.
{-8} You get an emblem with "Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control you may destroy target creature or enchantment an opponent controls."

Perhaps Arlinn's Werewolf transformation is inferred through an ability similar to Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker's dragon mode?

In a block with flip cards? No way.

posted a message on Updated - Did Wizards hint at Emrakul or Marit Lage on Innistrad in 2012?
I think bringing back Marit Lage as a multiversal threat would be awesome.

What is the justification for the $10 price tag? Printing these cards costs no more than printing a regular expansion set and this set doesn't even carry the cost burden of development. This is pure greed. How am I even going to draft this set at my local card shops when it will probably end up costing $45 per person?

So I can't help but notice the lack of +1/+1 counters in the booster. That leaves the possibility that this is a -1/-1 counter block. If Emrakul really is lurking in the set, that seems like a good way to represent twisted biology.

The lack of cards, a mere 15/250, bestowing +1/+1 counter is enough to think there are none but that same logic doesn't apply to cards bestowing -1/-1 counters?

Jace again? Really? I'm so sick of Jace. He's the Wolverine of Magic.

Couldn't agree more. He did the entire Ravnica thing, then went to Zendikar and now to Innistrad? Does his planeswalking get frequent miles? I'm secretly hoping that it's not Jace on that booster pack but Geist of St. Traft who is going undercover as a ghost in Jace's robes creating all the shenanigans in Innistrad because he's lonely. It's up to the scooby gang (Tamiyo, Garruk, and Nahiri) to find the missing clues.

Wasn't he supposed to stay his ass on Ravnica? What the hell is happening there without the Guildpact?
