The patch notes dosnt seem to talk about it, but im confused as to what happends if i change control with an instant or sorcery. Will the opponent get my creature for their Instant/Sorcery tho they are not permanents? It dosnt really seem like a fair trade in the long run.
I assumed Flameborn was simply a continuation of the Eidolon cycle from Theros (Hopeful Eidolon/Baleful Eidolon), though it is a bit weird that it was changed to an uncommon. It looks like there is also a cycle of uncommon instants/sorceries with devotion (Skyreaping, Thassa's Rebuff). And of course there's the continuation of the scry land cycle. I kind of agree with the OP; it seems like they are overdoing it a bit for a small set. We've seen less than half the cards so far and look at all these cycles! I'm hoping we see less of a preponderance of these in the remaining spoilers, because a set that is half cycles seems rather dull to me.
Excatly my point. I would rather have a unique set instead of a set full of random cycles. Sure they might be good flavorwise but i would much rather have a unique set with some thought put into it
Its weird because tho i find these cycles annoying i dont look at the Gods as a cycle tho they clearly are. Maybe its because they are such a big deal of the set
Over half of the BNG set have been spoiled and we have already got a lot of different cycles - more than we seem to imo.
Is it only me who are tied of these cycles? It seems like Wizards have run out of card ideas and therefor are doing these cycles that arent even exciting, especially because they are so non-unique and look too much alike, which means that a set that could have some interesting unique cards instead are getting shafted for cycles which take up the most of the set.
I could be wrong, but i would love to hear your thoughts on the cycle subject.
The large, bright green star in the hollow of the ear is about where the eye would be if it weren't in shadow. The rest of the face is below the horizon.
You can see the same creature (which the Bronze Sable is modeled after) wrapped around the shrines to Karametra in the artwork of Commune with the Gods and Annul.
Whoa! Its a head around Karametra. At first i didnt notice the ears which just looked like something there was a part of the tree thing around Karametra. Thanks man, thats a really cool creature.
EDIT: With those big ears tho, are you sure its the same creatue as Bronze Sable ? The flavor text does mention it but the creature just looks a lot smaller and less puffy then the one on the Karametra art
Mogis says hi

Thanks for moving it

Tho that dosnt seem very exciting i would love a punisher ability from him. Then Mogis and Phenax would go well in a deck together
Would love to know that too
Couldnt agree more!
