It kills Cartel Aristocrat. Bonfire targets players not creatures.
It can be hit with bonfire but can't be dealt damage by it if they choose protection from red. Same as in combat, it'll still be in combat and the other creature will "deal damage" but no damage will be marked on it.
Quite sure I'm in the right thread but the internets nowadays you can never tell...
Maybe I should have included a quote so you don't have to read the whole thread.
Dies to removal is not a valid argument when talking about creatures. When talking about enchantments however its a different story. Playing a creature only to have it killed is a 1-1 playing an enchantment on a creature only to have it killed is a 2-1. This is why most don't play enchantments other than rancor and volcanic strength. I'll let you figure out why.
Is 2 duress sideboard enough to combat combo? I went up against American control running the curse of exhaustion into possibility storm combo and they counter/unsummon sire until they get it off.
Would it be possible to make a thread completely hidden to non members on the site? I understand that the mods don't want this kind of behavior but if we migrate, the site loses the entire r/x sub forum.
If you have to ask for a hard number, the person you're asking about doesn't fit the rule, basically.
I'm a little confused about the need for the clarity, to be honest. We're talking about the difference between 'you should see a doctor about that' and 'you should see my friend Ted, who has read webmd' about that'.
and by asking an online forum you are actually getting worse info than if you asked someone who read up on it so why is it even an issue?
Got warned for inappropriate language and evading the censor while I thought I was censoring myself... Oh well... Inappropriate language in a thread all but devoted to dick jokes is a joke.
Pyre heart wolf is good because even if they have the same amount of creatures only half will be able to block letting half your team through. Against control it's usually sided out. About cavern of souls, most control decks have little or no counter spells. It's not a problem we have ATM.
While this is true, I'd say it applies to any R/x deck, not just this one. Even more, I'd say in the case of this deck is matters less than in any other R/x combination as here you still have bunch of LOT/LOT trample draw opportunities whereas in case of "classic" RG Gruul you don't.
What I meant by one board wipe and gg is that this deck relies on dorks and gyre sage to play the upper end. So if they get wiped you're playing a lot of five drops on 21 mana.

Warning for censor evasion - BlackVise
I'm pretty sure that voids apple warranty >:D lol and I was afraid the thread had taken up the ham challenge...
