Lightning Axe has brand new artwork.

Dead Weight doesn't have new art, but it does have different flavor text and should be included so that it shows up if you filter for SOI cards in the cockatrice deck editor.

As far as I can tell Dead Weight and Lightning Axe still aren't in the file, though the rest of the fixes were made.

The following cards aren't in the file:
    Dead Weight
    Lightning Axe

Call the Bloodline is in the file twice. The earlier one (line 1554) has an incorrect image (rare instead of uncommon)

There are 8 cards with incorrect or missing picURLs:
    Line 1640: <set picURL="">SOI</set>
    Line 1872: <set picURL="">SOI</set>
    Line 2246: <set picURL="Broken Concentration">SOI</set>
    Line 2460: <set picURL="Ghostly Wings">SOI</set>
    Line 2576: <set picURL="">SOI</set>
    Line 2836: <set picURL="">SOI</set>
    Line 3495: <set picURL="">SOI</set>
    Line 3599: <set picURL="">SOI</set>

Perfect Form should be Perfected Form. Howlpack Resurgance should be Howlpack Resurgence

This is a full list of all the issues I found- a very small number compared to the size of the set. Great job! Thank you for your efforts!

Well frak. I just realized that my and madmanquail's decks are illegal. T1 get mana out, end step of opponent's turn play your guys and T2 attack with them.

Well, at least i made the same mistake as the moderator :p

@Feyd_Ruin: You still have yourself listed as 6-0 against my deck on your scoreline.

I realized my mistake vs 10: I was forgetting about how powerful Prophet of Kruphix was. This gives you enough time to deal 20 to me before my rhinos begin resolving.

vs. 10, W's play+card: (to represent both scenarios at once)
Turns 1-5 are all lands since neither player can afford to play their threat and let their shields down. Then I begin playing Rhinos and WhammeWhamme counters them. Turn 7 I've drawn 6 rhinos, played 1 (countered). This gives WhammeWhamme the opportunity to play Prophet with two counterspells up- one for removal, one for my next rhino. I waste the Bile Blight, letting it be countered, and on my turn try for a Crater's Claws (it's countered) and then keep trying to play Siege Rhinos. I have 6 rhinos in hand, you have 4 counterspells. You can play your Dragon at instant speed and lock down a rhino I play. It will take me ~4 turns to start having rhinos resolve, and you will have dealt me 24 damage in that time.

I am still confident in my matchup vs. 12. My 2nd removal spell kills his Mentor before it can make enough tokens, unless he casts it really late in which case I have enough rhinos+burn to trample you to death.

Yeah, Rhinos OP. Trample, drain, and an efficient body.

I'm pretty sure I'm 6-0 against 11 on further review. Since Sidisi's Faithful only bounces and Ruthless Ripper relies on me attacking to get the kill, I can build up a force of at least 4 rhinos (draining 12) before the discard locks me by discarding Bile Blight, then attacks and Crater's Claws easily wins.

    X | 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 1 2
    5 | 6 6 6 0 X 6 0 6 6 0 6 6 | 48 | 436

I don't have complete listings, but for most of them I looked it over and my original logic looks sound. I'll try get out a full listing for 10 and 12 to resolve the disputes later today.

Maybe I'm missing something, but for your assessment of early blight with you on the play, you seem to switch to me on the play after T3. Also, on T8, instead of playing the 5th rhino I can swing and burn your face for lethal since the rhinos have trample.

I'll post a more thorough assessment of all my questionable matchups later today hopefully.

    05 notgreat :: "Rhinos...lots of Rhinos"
Bile Blight / Crater's Claws / Siege Rhino

    5 | 6 6 6 0 X 6 0 6 6 2 ? 6 | |

    Not certain on: 2, 7, 8, 11, 12
    Disputed: 10, 12

01: Cackling Doom is nice, but Rhinos still drain for 3 and Spellsnatcher comes online too late if you don't want it to die to Bile Blight. 6-0

02: Bile Blight in response to the Harsh Sustenance if you do it late, it's not quite lethal if you do it early and Rhinos draining for 3 keeps me alive until I can burn you to death. I'm not certain but I think it's 6-0

03: I've got removal for the first two Heralds, and my Rhinos draining and trampling is enough to win from that. 6-0

04: If I keep playing Rhinos you keep countering them until you Empty and let two Rhinos through (to keep up the counter for Bile Blight/burn for 20) 0-6

06: Winds do nothing vs. noncombat damage 6-0

    07: Ojutai's Command OP. Nerf plz. 0-6

08: Not sure on this one. Dissipate costs a lot to hold up and I think my rhinos outrace, but I'm not certain, particularly since you're making 5/5s. tentatively 6-0

09: Bile Blight kills Goblins, Rhinos outrace Arrow Storm. 6-0

10: *DISPUTED* You've got counters for my rhinos, but I've got removal as well. If you counter a removal spell then you're 1 counter short and a rhino slips through eventually. Eventually I burn you for 20, and if you counter that then a rhino slips through. However, if you then play your dragon then it can lock down the Rhino, so I need to wait for you to play the Dragon first. Rhino races the dragon if both are on the battlefield thanks to the drain life effect. 2-2

11: This one's complicated, I think I draw enough Rhinos to win but I'll need to do the math.

12: *DISPUTED* Not certain, but if you play the Mentor early then I can double burn it and you don't get enough tokens, and if you play it late then I can burn your face for the win thanks to summoning sickness. You're missing that since Bile Blight is instant speed if you play mentor on T4 then I just Bile Blight it immediately. You can counter it, but then I burn it on my turn. You only have 1 token and I easily win a few turns later. I think it's 6-0

How do I get my Spoiler tags to work?

You've got a double /spoiler tag at the end of 11 which is breaking everything.

edit: fixed error w/ matchup vs deck 10

What are the precise rules for strawman? I'm assuming mountan, 4x mana clash is not acceptable.

That sounds like a legal deck but it's a very bad choice. The goal is to make the best deck that loses to the test deck. Your deck would thus almost assuredly score 0 points.

I remember in the old rules that a split match could be recorded with an 'S'. I think that would work a lot better than the current system, particularly since an S looks similar to a 2. It also eliminates the issue of the BBcode messing up the alignment of the table.

Which naturally puts my week score down and psymunn wins the week alone! Smile

Actually, my old scoreline put me just 6 points behind psymunn- so right now we're tied.
If my deck 10 dispute goes through I'll actually win the week alone. We'll see...

edit: Whoops, somehow thought you were deck 9. I'm almost 100% certain of that matchup, so it looks like I'm going to be the winner barring any other scoring changes.

Sorry for getting my results in so late, this week was a killer IRL. I am disputing my record against decks 9 and 10.

    vs 01: I think it's 2-2, but I'm not certain.
    vs 02: I die 0-6
    vs 03: Easy crush 6-0
    vs 04: I die 0-6
vs 05: Stingscourger holds me off for a while but I win in the end 6-0
    vs 06: Exile the Invigorate if it's cast, play a 2/2 flier on T3 and I can't lose. 6-0
vs 07: Exile the pox, easy crush. 6-0
    vs 08: I think it's 6-0. See below.
vs 09: Exile the cards once they're cast and make 2/2 tokens starting turn 3. I easily win the race. 6-0 <<DISPUTED>>
    vs 10: Complicated. See below.<<DISPUTED>>
vs 12: Buyback tokens outrace Demonfire for 20 (and I exile Demonfire if done for less) 6-0
vs 13: I make 2/2 tokens, exile the Verdict once it's cast, and crush. 6-0

    08 expanded:
In the long run you would win from Resounding Wave, but I can start making buyback tokens T5 and you can't start bouncing before T11 (since you need to keep up Grixis Sojourners' cycling or else I exile your card and if you cast it normally you stop getting lands and then eventually I start making 2 tokens per turn) and so I'm pretty sure I win the race.

    10 expanded:
I can make non-buyback tokens too. While you do get to then Ebony Charm it, Faerie Macabre can exile the Ebony Charm in response. If you ever Ebony Charm before I may a non-buyback token, I can exile it, then start making really big guys. Faerie Macabre also works as a very good blocker of your 1/1 tokens. As such this is a really complicated matchup. Here's what I think is the optimal play, but I dunno.
    My play:
    Swamp | Swamp
    Swamp | Swamp, Bitterblossom
    Forest | Swamp 1f (20/19)
    Forest | Swamp 2f (19/18)
    Forest, 1/1 | Swamp 3f (17/17)
    Forest, 2/2 | Swamp 4f (14/15)
    Forest, 3/3 | Swamp 5f (10/11)
    Play Macabre, 4/4 nonbuyback->Ebony Charm exiles| redraw, drain, 5f (5/5)
From here if you block then you don't have enough for the kill and if you don't block then I win next turn.

If you're on the play you slightly outrace me.

So, I get that our sword plays their shield and vice versa, but if we think about attaching the names to the opposite decks, it still works out the same.

Not true! Sword plays first. Shield plays last. This is extremely exploitable.

The problem with cycling is that it still hits the graveyard, if only briefly- which means graveyard hate still takes it out. I rather like my solution, though we'll have to see how well it does tomorrow.
