Heh, biter ordeal... good times. Doppelganger seems like an oversight on my part, as I know I have at least three of her. Nemesis of Reason isn't in for two reasons.. first, I don't have one, secondly the next phase of tuning is getting rid of some/most of my single target mill. Although, the effect is repeatable as long as he gets to attack multiple times. I've looked for him before, I may still.
Top priority card is currently Crucible of Worlds, followed by Yawgwin and some others.
Finally updated Lazav's decklist and added a link to my sig, took longer than hoped. Still have to do Queen. Also, been putting together a Sapling of Colfenor deck in place of a Chainer deck. Since it didn't seem like I was getting the card I wanted for Chainer. I think I might be able to make a decent Dredge style deck with the Sapling.. *shrug* It's a decent draw every turn.
Honestly other than pre-release I haven't had much time to worry about JOU, which is sad considering I now technically work for my LGS and get a awesome deal on packs/boxes/supplies.. I've mostly been using the advantage for old stuffs. I'm poor right now, so.. other than probably doing a draft next week, I'm slowing down on Magic purchases in general. However 75$ for a booster box is very tempting, I think I'll end up grabbing or preordering Conspiracy which is more geared toward our style of play for what we have seen.
Updated my signature with my current decks, as you can see I am down a couple decks.. and still haven't built Chainer, which is why he's faded. I was down to just running Niv, Queen and Lazav... but built on a budget (or rather, out of my own stock rather than seek/buy specifics) Roon and Shizo. Shizo is 33 Shadowborn Apostle + 10 demons... it really is kind of budgeted, other than the extra Demonic Tutor I had laying around. It would really benefit from a Grave Pact. Roon, I have tried blink in the past with meh effect.. however I'm enjoying him so far, but feel like I have to track down a Terastodon for him.
If I weren't low on funds I'd try pimping out Roon, but the next major goal at the moment is acquiring a Crucible of Worlds for Lazav and then Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed for work on Chainer.
I'm looking for cards like Tainted Æther for my Planeswalker EDH deck. Things to keep my Walkers and myself safe from creatures. They only other two I have thus far are Pendrell Mists and Burning Sands. I know there's more, I just can't think of them off the top of my head. Any help is appreciated!
Phenax, because I wouldn't have to change much about my mill deck and he's the only god I really like.
On another note... I rebuilt Niv finally and I play a lot of 1v1 with a friend since my group only gathers every other week. I built Niv within my budget this time, no proxies (one of the main goals and reasons for the decks deconstruction)... and I annihilated my friend turn five. I felt bad and it made me think about building Nekusar again since.. I'd actually have to cast some wheels to win.
Just got four of the "Battle the Horde" decks for pretty cheap, keeping one together at minimum for random sixty card horde fun.. but.. time to make an EDH Horde. No one seems to have posted a Minotaur Horde yet though, so suggestions or ideas for non-token spells or creatures for a 'Taur Horde would be appreciate. I've got some ideas, but they seem so evil.. which could be fun.. *shrug* I'ma start with a 100 Card goal, maybe go up from there.
I got a big urge to build a five color deck for EDH that just wants to have fun and enable other people to play the game. Basically I want to make it Group Hug. I know about a few obvious picks for Group Hug (i.e. Howling Mine,Rites of Flourishing,Jace Beleren) I would also consider something like Arcane Denial to be a friendly spell, as it more than replaces the spell it counters. I would say also that the "tempting offers" would be good. I'm not sure if I want to play any "Chaos Causing" cards, like Teferi's Puzzle Box. Although they can be fun, I kind of just want to accelerate the game, and make sure as many people get to do what they want to do. Anyone who can offer up some card choices or any fun ideas let me know!
The problem with building "Group Hug" is that you end up enabling a singleperson generally, usually on accident as a side effect of flooding the field with mana doublers, or lands. Leads to a quick, Vorinclex with a Avacyn for good measure, and similar evil scenarios that are positive for that one person..
By that point you may as well play "Kingmaker" style because your only making the game fun for maybe you and for sure that one person.
If you must forray into "Group Hug" maybe look into cards that actually prevent bad things from happening, instead of acceleration? Neither is gonna be as awesome as you imagine (I'm sad to say..) but prevention of some early victories will allow people to play their decks more than the chaos of doublers and the like.
Dunno, this one looks pretty bad all around.. it kinda shoots itself in many ways, to expensive, not big enough, and a lackluster ability too.. I feel bad for it..
Also acquired through trades/purchases.. (F)Ral Zarek, (F)Garruk, Primal Hunter and (F)Sarkhan Vol who all went into the Planeswalkers 'Sliver Queen' deck. I went ahead and bought Jace vs Vraska to add the later in as well. The deck is working better, but I feel it's suffering from lack of tutor/draw which I am testing to fix.

for the Queen, so it looks as if her Planeswalker followers are worshiping her well.

Those still kicking at the moment are her majesty, the Queen with her loyal Planeswalkers.. alongside Lazav, Dimir Mastermind Mill, Odric, Master Tactician Solider Weenie and Norin the Wary Chaos.
Switching up, testing, adding.. thats just how EDH is played. However satisfaction in the deck doesn't have to have anything to do with that. I am mostly satisfied with my versions of Lazav, Dimir Mastermind and Odric, Master Tactician they are very good decks at what they do. I still modify them though, but they generally feel complete even with new cards coming in and other cards going out.
I'd like to see the sign for Ghosts of Arcades... where can I find it?

Trade one Misty Rainforest (I had four, one which is Foil) for (F)Blood Crypt, (F)Sacred Foundry, (F)Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Phenax, God of Deception ..I was sad there wasn't a foil Phenax, but.. I feel like I walked with an even trade beneficial to me as a EDH player.
