Well... its honestly the same deck using the same interactions except for things like giant growth, but more importantly... revenge of the hunted. I sat down and played that all day yesterday just for some intel. Therefore I can say with aplomb that I found that its a pretty solid deck with a lot of game vs a variety of decks, and works JUUUUST about as well as any all in strategy has a right to.
Better in some situations because of RotH and in my opinion its that card which really really strings this thing together.
Would you be able to post a decklist of your Stompy deck and IMO blitz and humans really needs Revenge of the Hunted. I though it was ok now I think it is the best finisher in Standard
I don't understand how people expect to win against jund with this deck. Or UWR for that matter.
The thing about this deck is that it is really hard to pilot so without practising it a lot I do not reccomend playing in any payed event on MTGO or IRL trust me I learnt the hard way (lost a bunch of tix, remade though) and I will add stuff about stratergy to the OP in the future.
About its matchups with Jund and UWR they are hard but they are still very winnable
Against Jund you need to be able to bait removal and keep quite aggresive hands
Against UWR it is quite hard in the first game but game 2 you can expect counters and can play around them
Thanks midnight and about the trolling part I thought he meant that wanted to put it in the stompy version without any support cards. That all in aggro variant you created actually seems ok and I will include it in the Sample decklists under variants. But for an all out deck it is very mediocre compared to Naya Blitz or Naya Humans
I have seen decks likethis on MTGO when I played against them the hardest card for me to deal with was assemble the legion it got out of hand really quick it might be a good addition to the primer
Midnight I have added your deck to the OP it seems really good and I really need to try out Dryad Militant's. Thanks so much for your insight ful post your a great contributor to the primer
I agree with Midnight that Burning-Tree Emissiary is really out of place in the deck I would also like to add that Ranger's Guile is horrible trust me I have tried it it is a dead card against a lot of matchups where as Rancor is so powerful
This is a Primer for a competitive Mono Green Aggro deck that is still under development
This is a similair deck to the deck played by Brian Kibler pre-Gatecrash however it does not have the black splash. This version of that deck utilises creatures with flash to make combat a lot harder for the opponent it also uses Pit fight and it also utilises Revenge of the Hunted
I have been having great success with this deck on MTGO with a 75% Percentage win rate and a really fun time. Similair decks have 4-0ed Daily Events and Top8ed PTQ'S I will upload matchups in the near future
Please do offer your opinions/feedback and feel free to post your own decklists along with with how your testing has been going.
I will update this thread with your feedback, and I can have your deck listed under the sample decklists if you would like.
Below is a list of Card options as well as my current list
Creatures:
Arbor Elf-The only manadork at our disposal. Arbor Elf accelerates us into bigger spells, but on the other hand he is suspectible to removal mainly used to ramp into 3 drops by turn 2 3/5
Ulvenwald Tracker- The leader of fight club he can be used a removal spell on a stick for a colour that usually doesn't have access to removal 3/5
Strangleroot Geist-One of the best creatures in green. Geist is good for both blocking and hitting your opponent. An early threat that must be answered by your opponent is always great 4.5/5
Predator Ooze-The Best Card in the deck and IMO the best green card printed due to its versatility this is a must playset 5/5 Wolfir Avenger
Deadbridge Goliath-A great blocker and very powerful when combined with other cards in the deck 3/5
Yeva, Nature's Herald- An excellent surprise blocker this can make combat a lot harder for your opponents 3.5/5
Wolfir Silverheart Can help to help to end the games really quickly however it can be susceptible to removal and can become a blowout 4/5
Vorapede-A great blocker but only as a one of in the deck as it doesn't have too much impact for its mana cost 2/5
Acidic Slime- An excellent sideboard card against Any decks that abuse Land, Enchantments or Artifacts and also a great blocker 3/5
Silklash Spider- A card that is excellent against pesky fliers especially the aristocrats 3/5
Dryad Militant still a 2/1 for 1, stops flashbacking 3/5
Gyre Sage Ramps and can also grow to a great size 2.5/5
Other Spells:
Garruk, Primal Hunter-Creates good board presence and massive amounts of Card Advantage. Fighting for the title of the most powerful planeswalker in standard. 4.5/5
Garruk Relentless-Creates board presence and has strong removal. Once flipped it can clear the board and tutor conflicts with Primal Hunter 3.5/5
Pit Fight-The only real instant speed removal spell in the deck helps to get rid of problematic creatures 3.5/5
Rancor-A great enchanment that is very flexible 4/5
Revenge of the Hunted-A great finisher that easily wipes the opponents board and life total 5/5
Fog- A great sideboard against blowout aggro decks 2/5
Ranger's Guile- A necessary evil sideboard card against Jund and Control 2/5
Ground Seal- Necessary sideboard card against all decks that abuse the graveyard 3/5
Plummet- A card useful for meta's with a large amount of flyers 2.5/5
Triumph of Ferocity- A great sideboard card against control creating card advantage 3/5
For Example I want to play Simic and I want to know what guild it is alligned with using this same method it would be allied with Selesnya. Evolve and Populate are really powerful together
Automatic 4 of probably not but worth testing definitely. you cant know what goodies we will be getting until all of M14 is spoiled. Hopefully a great green PW

The best thing about green removal is most people dont expect it

I'm no expert but that my 2 cents
Are you trolling

Thanks I will include these in the OP
