Which is fine, since Kicker is a great core to build cards off of. Flexibility is delicious. Legend of the Five Rings outright stealing Kicker from MTG was nearly enough to get me to keep riding the sinking ship.
Brion Stoutarm was my first Commander. Super fun to play, and made Threaten effects hilarious. Locals came to absolutely loathe Preacher. Always felt way more "red" as a commander than "red/white," though.
Legendary Auras that can be your Commander and allow whichever creature they enchant to do Commander Damage! We're supposed to screw with how the command zone is supposed to work in each of these sets now, right?
They literally just had an article about not wanting Red's identity to be a pile of 1 drops and burning face, so what's the surprise about it not burning face?
I would be more than happy to let my opponent spend 2 or 3 mana to kill my 2 drop. Especially since your deck can only have so much removal in it. As it was once said "You can win with a deck of 40 creatures and 20 lands, you cannot win with a deck of 40 killspells and 20 lands."
It's all true! Ancient aliens!
You can if you go first!
