too slow, and returns to hand, not good... also the damage will be low since sliver in grave dont get the bonus...

    even Resurrection is better
if you want to recovery to your hand, rise its a nice and cheap option, since for 2 mana you recovery one creature from your grave, and bounce a enemy creature

ya your right about the damage will be low i think i should get back on track and get some of those lovely ravnica lands

already got steam vents ugh not the one im looking for but a step in the right path its the deck is fleshing out but i dare not put anything in stone before i proxy and run a little bit still might need to either add cheaper spells or tweak mana base a little

Well i broke down and bought a fat pack of dragon maze to see if i can comeup with any more thoughts on the recursion, and a common caught my eye. Its a recursion plus damage so it makes the deck work twofold.... mostly.. it is a bit steep but im thinking using lillana as the walker so at least itll cost 2 instead of 6 but anyway this caught my eye and i kinda like itMorgue Burst , any thoughts?

i like grab the reins, sounds cool for casual

i think its a solid choice for casual

also Brion Stoutarm its cool too ^^

o ya brion sounds good for naya i can just see edh coming from that the poor screams of sliver being launched out of a giants palm sends shivers down my spine

Im giving a race for the 2 decks, ones a green red white and the other green red black. im trying to see whats the better damage output, speed and all that other stuff. im kinda leaning more on the former for the big stompy. wanna make them both sac but thats why im still in theory/brainstorming stage. The latter will be recursion from the grave. Ive been playing my tempest/timespiral block hodgepodge hive for quite a while it needs some time to rest

scapegoat: will go in my other naya deck

Rite of Consumption? It's pretty much superior to Fling in every way if you use black at all.

Well, admittedly it's not instant, and if you want to use Fling on creatures, it's not as good, but isn't Fling kind of wasted on creatures? I reserve smaller burn like Incinerate or, if I'm running snowlands, Skred for creatures.

    That's just me though.

rite does seem really good (that except for the targeting player only) but it does work well with multiplayer, that i know people will target me first for a rule for me is always take combat damage for bout 2-3 turns unless its a superfast deck.
But im still on the lookout for some more ideas for a sac cannon mech thanks guys

but ya sorry for triple posting but anyone know any other cards like fling ( instant/ sorc) i can arm the meat cannons with they need to sac and either do equal to toughness or a set amount of damage to player or both creature or player?

But now my deck is getting better with thorncaster sliver, its hittin the face three times and im winning by turn 4 if everything hits right. Now they wont have to worry about just gemhide to counter now we have manawift my playgroup hates me already. i just feel the guns load when i sit down *sigh* feels good to be hated

I do like the flavour implications that in a battle between the old slivers and these "evolved" ones, the evolved ones will have all the benefits and more!
... That's all I like about them, though.

until overlord comes in to the foray:D

In the old sets if you vs a sliver type while your where playing one as well it would be a sort of race to plop all those little guys and make sure you killed some of the opposition. With these big gun high cost especially the green the only way id see running them is if the have elf ramp....... again....... in a set unless they have a gemhide one thats not too exspensive in c.c

what id like to know is if they go this huge different direction will they commit to a mana ramp sliver (i.e gemhide like) to cover those huge mana costs. id hate to hard cast 6 mana just to use that might plus one " sliver". if not id only use them in my casual deck,( ill be bringing alot of acetone and paint home from the craft shop) i guess well see in the coming weeks.

dont get me wrong i do like that they kinda fixed/ or totally ruined the fun of playing emperor with with two other hivemates and just overloading the other sides face with the all silver YOU control. Tbh is like awwwww no more sharing is caring and even hivestone is in the dark for the people who play against the new hive...... borglings ... haha borglings they must assimilate to survive. Thats it !!!they had trekies think of the new slivers

I think if they go ahead with the artwork of these they will see a boom in the alteration artwork, just to change the artwork back to the ones we know and love.

just to clarify, if you want to use fling, stampede and living death, i think you should run only 3 colors (the color of these spells) its okay for you ?

Well since its living death is the only card thats black couldnt i just use gemhide as i really like red green white for an aggro, is there any cards old or new that has the same capacity as living death in those colors?

The reason why this kinda deck came to mind is that when i usta fight goblins they loved that fling but it was rarely a winning shot; with slivers those little guys get way to big to pass it up

    Blazing Archon

Through the haze of battle I saw the glint of sun on golden mane, the sheen of glory clad in mail, and I dropped my pants and wept at the idiocy of war.
