Cut the Archdruids, too easy to pick off and the mana ramp isn't worth it I'd put in 4 Thragtusks instead. That said, I'd say Devil's Play should be a bonfire, but really it could be taken out all together and replaced for a Supreme Verdict. Increasing Ambition could be removed and instead put in 2 Sphinx's Revelation. And if you're going to use Archaeomancer I'd suggest 2xGhostly Flicker helps you blink mancer to bring back flicker, and then you can bounce a second useful creature like thrag to make some tokens/gain some life.
So I realized I just made this bant. But with this set up it's a little more focused, I guess.
The problem you have with running into with results for combos like eti and omnisci is that you just have no way of fully predicting how things will turn out. Sure you can put multiples of both in but then you run the risk of having an opening hand with very expensive cards. I neve liked the idea of using results to make a combo because you're just gambling.
Cutting the thrags is just a no no. They are what keep the deck alive until you hit something big. My sig has my deck, however it's not very budget friendly. It uses more the idea of hitting some of the biggest bombs possible or at least trying to control the game until you do.
4 Primordial Hydra can really get the deck moving plus he provides a ton of fodder for Zameck Guildmage. I'd personally drop the Krasis for him. The other thing I'd do is go down to 2 Zegana because having multiples in your hand isn't really going to be useful in most situations. Allows you to add 1 more charm and 1 more Rancor.
My over all feeling at the moment is that my curve is very cluttered at 4 and 5 cmc so I'm kind of overcompensation with mana search. The main idea is to abuse Archaeomancer and Ghostly Flicker with the second blink target being either Slime or Thrag. Just still feels like it's missing something.
Feeling of Dread is instant, shuts down two creatures and can be flashbacked for still only 2. Inaction Injunction being sorcery actually makes it a tad awkward.
I suppose, however I'd still take the cantrip over splashing a 4th color.
Also what about Chandra, the Firebrand? Getting some quick pings, kills mana dorks and some aggro, also double casts sorceries and instants. Seems like it should fit, right?
Take out Feeling of Dread for Inaction Injunction. Same cost, and fits the color scheme more, plus cantrips. Also I'd say you can splash white, but get rid of the black, this will open you up to keep the wipes, but then you can throw in two Sphinx's Revelation for Rakdos's Return. Also You're missing out on the best charm in the game, Boros Charm. Essentially 6 damage for 2 mana.
With this kind of draw set up, you can take out faithless looting, I personally don't like it here because you're not running Psychic Spiral. Allowing you to put in 4 Snapcasters.
Plus half the fun of Results is to see what you get! Even if you hit a land it's at least gonna put it back into your hand. I've been randomly hitting a second Results a lot recently... it's kind of funny. But hey it just thins the deck out for better top decking.
The other thing I'd recommend is Fog Bank to block flying. Cheep, and will slow aggro down early on as well as give late game creatures a hesitation to strike unless they have trample.
What about Boros Elite? Considering you'll get out a ton of cheep creatures, Battalion shouldn't be an issue and a 3/3 for 1 with possible double strike just seems so sexy.
The only ramp I can think of is the new Liliana, the Extort creature that doubles swamps, and the M13 creature that searches for a swamp card and puts it to hand(?). All of those would lose you too much tempo for what you're trying to do, though.
Personally Chalice of Life to me screams Bant or at the very least Selesnya, since you have Thrag and Centaur Healer at your hands to get it going asap.
Yeah forgot about Ghost Quarter, I've always wondered, though if it'd worth it considering you're giving up a land in order to give them a basic. I suppose if they're limited in their basics in the deck it is (it would be if you went up against my 5 color deck, for sure).
Curious, though, what would you use as fodder to Informer?
9/22/2011: When you activate Chandra's last ability, you choose up to six target creatures and/or players. No damage is divided, and Chandra can't deal more than 6 damage to any one target. Chandra deals 6 damage to each target that is still legal when the ability resolves.
I suppose you're right then. Still seems kind of grey but I think you're right.
