In all honesty, your deck doesn't really have direction. If you want go Mill with Phenax, think about adding more Mind Sculpts, and even Wall of Frost with Phenax is pretty slick since it mills 7 and is a good blocker to protect you / Ashiok. Cut cards like Crippling Blight and Pin to the Earth for better removal spells like Bile Blight, Hero's Downfall etc. Run Dissolve over Cancel.

Seriously guys why is the red god so hyped, i don't get it. Let's compare him to inferno titan for example which is an older card. The titan is always a creature and can bolt anything without relying on a bunch of other creatures that are magically on your hand. You don't have to build around devotion or play with tokens to be effective. Was inferno titan played heavily and changed the meta? It was a strong card that saw some play but that's it. I fail to see why a weaker version of him that isn't always a creature, that doesn't do anything the turn he enters the battlefield and you have to play a lot of other cards to make it relevant, would change the meta. Its illogical. Also you are imagining decks that don't exist, you say tokens decks while token theme decks are in their worst state in years after rotation. RDW don't care about this guy he is slow. Yeah in an imaginary deck on paper he is a powerhouse but that deck doesn't exist and probably won't.

Inferno Titan was a 6 drop, versus Perphoros being 4. He's also indestructible, gives firebreathing to your team and has a nice ETB trigger for reach. Not exactly comparable. I'm not saying he's better, worse or anything since we don't have everything spoiled to see if he'll be amazing, but he certainly isn't any slouch.

I keep hearing references to TWO commander cards that were spoiled that care about the cost paid. Where is the other one?

It's a very powerful card. However, it is also really, really expensive. It's a card that might actually be almost too expensive for even EDH.

I'd have to disagree. Maybe if you're playing other colors, but mono black has no trouble dropping Urborg/Coffers, Crypt Ghast, Nirkana Revenant, or any of the artifact gauntlets and playing this early. Not saying earlier = better, but it's certainly not too expensive by any means.

This is more focused towards French rules, but do you guys think the oversized cards they released with say the commander pre-cons or Commander Arsenal should be legal to use as the general, without the actual card present? Seeing as bounce is the only real concern here, as your general cannot be tucked in French.

How does he plan to play Curiosity in a R/G deck?

Not that it really matters, but in the Geist vs. Vorosh match, the Geist player pays for a Remand with Mishra Factory and Mystic Gate, then does the same with Adakar Wastes without taking a ping. I mean he had the mana to do it correctly, just strange he didn't catch him on it.

I'll have to agree with Secularon here. I also think it depends on if you're playing 1v1 or Multiplayer.

In a one on one setting, I like to face off against degenerate combos and silly strong decks, mostly because I can combat them. But in multiplayer, it's a little stupid to run that because they will generally just take the win because the weaker players seem to feed them. It's really the politics that get to me, the "cool guy" of a group of friends seems to win a lot because they let him have fun and go off while I sit there and durdle around trying to find answers to the guy who just drew like 18 cards off Rhystic Study because his friends let him.

Did you really just copy all these decks and post them on the forums?
