Jan 16, 2014XBM Yosho posted a message on Primer constructionThus far it looks pretty solid. I agree with Obermeir on the inclusion of a Peasant section. It won't be a large section to add but it does give additional options.Posted in: -spooky- Blog

Jun 14, 2013XBM Yosho posted a message on Banned from the casual forum for 2 weeks.I am very much with you Cz on calling people out on bad advice and the like, I do my very best to keep the paper Pauper/Peasant section alive much as you do with multiplayer, I gave it a rules thread, started the Primer sub-section and I actively call people out if they throw something horrid out there. I certainly hope I don't get a vague ban one day because of it.Posted in: Cz Blog

4 Champion of the Parish
4 Elite Inquisitor
4 Precinct Captain
4 Kazandu Blademaster
4 Enlistment Officer
4 Archetype of Courage
4 Daru Warchief
4 Swords to Plowshares
4 Brave the Elements
2 Oblivion Ring
Plainswalker
2 Elspeth, Knight-Errant
21 Plains
What I dropped and why:
I dropped the Deftblade Elite/Catapult Squad combo in favor Champion of the Parish and Elite Inquistor. CotP just gets bigger faster and EQ doesn't tap so he can still block.
I dropped both Preeminent Captain and Field Marshal for Enlistment Officer and Archetype of Courage. EO replenishes my soldiers and AoC gives me first strike and drops the enemy players first strike. I still have pump from Daru Warchief.
I dropped Path to Exile in favor of Brave the Elements for total protect and walk through.
I decreased Oblivion Ring down to 2 and upper Swords to Plowshares to 4.
Thoughts?
What can I build that best combats the knight deck based off what I currently have?
I currently have the following cards with the exact number I have so if you could help me create a deck, using the cards I have in the best combination to battle FAIRLY against the knight deck, not overwhelm that would be awesome possum.
I appreciate the help and deck list, but I really didn't want to completely change my deck around..
What can help out my soldiers most? Raise the Alarm? Champion of the Parish?

For three mana it can only destroy something that is tapped, (I don't find that useful) and the Awaken cost is really high for only 3 pump on one land. For three mana I would rather play Guardians' Pledge (Yes it isn't a perma pump I know) as surprise pump to all my minions and swing for the win.
I removed Champion of the Parish in favor of Precinct Captain, I just feel as if he can create more threat then a single creature by himself, albeit a strong one if allowed to get there.
I kept in Kazandu Blademaster since I feel he is a better version of Elite Inquisitor.
I also removed Hada Freeblade, I know a one drop is nice but I figured go for massive pump in the form of Daru Warchief instead.

All of the decks in my signature below will cost you anywhere from $5-$25 dollars on average so you can really pick and choose several decks. You don't need to see whats the best because you can just buy most and test.
It is an interesting card but holds little value in the long term. That card gives almost no advantage for its cost. A single 1/1 token doesn't do a whole lot.
