Does The Mimeoplasm retain the copy card's characteristics while sitting in the command zone?
If Mimeoplasm is copying the ability of Skullbriar, the Walking Grave, and has, say 10 +1/+1 counters on it - and them it dies. Does it keep those counters when it dies and enters the command zone again?
If so, would it keep those counters when ETB again, to copy another creature?
With the return of dredge in RtR block and cards like Varolz, the Scar-Striped making more appearances as a general, it seems like every other deck is running cards like Bojuka Bog or Tormod's Crypt for graveyard hate.
As someone who is interested in building a Mimeoplasm deck, what are some cards in BUG that can protect my graveyard so I'm not losing creatures in it?
Have what do you think about running cards like Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts with a stronger sac/devour subtheme? I've been looking at some of the new saproling engines in M14 and alongside cards like Skullmulcher they look like they could be really fun to play.
Is any one else bothered by the Christopher Nolan "gritty" flavor the new Super-Man? I don't think Zack Schneider understands that each super heor has their own aesthetics and flavour. SUper-Man needs to be bright and goofy, not gritty and muted.
My kid just took another dump in the middle of an open space at a public park. Seriously kid, WTF?!?
Kids love that stuff it's super liberating. Assuming your child isn't past the age of six I'd say the only rule for that demographic is "whatever you can get away with." You can threaten him/her with a relapse into diapers and they'll stop fast. kids hate regression.
It really depends on how much versatility you want. The portal lets you save creatures and recast them, but that costs a lot, depending on the CC of the creature. The closet costs nothing and lets you blink any creature you want. I find the Portal is better in multi-color decks that run cards like Spellstutter Sprite and Mystic Snake - things you need to be physically recasting.
As far as tips go: Don't forget about ramping and fixing when constructing your deck. Always think big. I've always found my favorite cards in the bulk rares bin.
I think you meant Ensouled Scimitar, though it is the true dancing scimitar. I'll definitely add it as I already have it in my sideboard of cards to test out, as is Forbidding Watchtower.
Bojuka Bog is actually already in my deck, just not on the list, I added it right after my friend Dan threw together a Varolz, the Scar-Striped deck.
With Heartwood Storyteller I've found that within my meta it's on an even scale to what everyone dishes out - we like our games big, so we all run lots of group-hug draw and ramp, we find the games to be more epic and explosive that way. Also if I need to shut him off he makes a good target for Unstoppable Ash, as does Treefolk Harbinger and Deadwood Treefolk - that being said, however, I've also been giving Ash some second thoughts lately, and I wasn't sure if he'd add to my small list of reasons to run Conspiracy - since he could then target my Eternal Witness to protect her and continue to run shenanigans.
I just found this thread and was quite surprised at how similarly my Doran deck was to your primer. I play with a pretty casual crowd (Hence the Flying Carpet and minimal tutors) and many of my card choices are due to budget.
I have had so much fun with this deck. Necra colors have great synergy and allow for a sophisticated-feeling aggro deck. I found the extort sub-theme works wonders and is the perfect compliment to Necropotence. I'm holding out on some Core14 cards to come out, like Angel of Thune and I'm thinking about maybe taking out Garruk (since I rarely even draw into him), and replacing him for Phyrexian Reclamation.
I think I need to up the creature ratio, what do you think?
Kederekt Leviathan shouldn't be underestimated ... its unearth ability is nearly uncounterable plus it's always nice to bounce everything and keeping a threat at your side. Tbh though I've never played it myself, but a friend loves it and plays it in most of his blue decks .... and I hate it everytime it hits the field
Bonuspoints for playing it in combination with clones, generating a soft lock.
I'm really interested in going with Kederekt, and I'd like to know more about your experiences playing it.
Cards I've looked at are Evacuation and Devastation Tide. I'm not sure what people think about Kederekt Leviathan. I know there's also Blasphemous Act in red, but it's a little off flavor for the deck (I'm aiming towards mysticism and dreamscapes, flavor-wise).
You're right. We are, after all, playing casual, and my roommate will appreciate the flavor. I'll also make the changes to ramp with some cheaper cards. I'm sure I have a farseek lying around, and I may as well invest in 2 more shock lands, since it wouldn't be fair to hog the shocks in my personal decks. Now, for Dream Cache, Tempest art or Mirage art...?

What sort of sac outlet?
Right now this is the one I'm leaning towards the most, I just like everything bout the card, the flavor, the ability, the cycling, etc.
Oblivion Stone is out of my budget range, and I'm picking up the other blue bounce cards, but I like red's aggression.
Oh, wow. I had no idea that was a card. Thanks for pointing it out!
