Question one. I have a creature out, paired with deadeye and only two mana open, my opponent has olivia out and a lot of mana.
He shoots my non-deadeye with olivia, turning it into a vampire. Resolves. He tries to steal my creature, i attempt to blink it, he tries to steal it, resolvels.
So now what happens? He has my creature that is now attempting to blink. Will it still blink, and if so, who will it return to?
Second question. If I'm playing twoheaded giant and my teamate has damia out, or any other card that says skip a phase. Will i (his teanate) get that step or will i also skip it?
It depends on how many mana accelerators you have. 10 or so you could get away with ~ 32 lands,5 ~35 lands, Green, Artifacts and Rampant growthcultivate Type spells, probably about 30. But no matter what I wouldn't go any lower than 30.
My friend was playing karador, I was playing Sharuum and another player was playing The Mimeoplasm. The Karador player was down to his last card in deck and he knows exactly what it is because it was new and he's wanted to play it all game, and like 20 life. i have about 10 cards left, Mostly lands, thanks to scry and 2 life. and the mim player was near 40 cards and 38 life. the kar player goes, draws rise of the dark realms, Plays it, Gets my laboratory Maniac, Sacs a dude to draw a card with harvester of souls and wins.

What I've found is that in multiplayer games, the guy playing control (counters & removal) ussually stays in the game up until the end.
Either you stay in and stop big threats from hitting the board, or killing it, or the guy playing combo gets his off and you all lose. Also board wipes are an essential part of the game.
(Disclaimer: Every time I've played multiplayer with people outside of my playgroup there has always been at least one combo player in it, and the control player [me] has either won or come in second. But this is as long as you don't pick on one person. Share the love of nothing hitting the board, and being political is key, Also know some of the combos people could play in their decks. mikeaus the unhallowed and triskelion. sharuum the hegemon, blood artist/diciple of the vault, and a clone. Niv Mizzet the firemind and curiosity type cards.)

If the group I'm playing with is a little bit more casual, I'll pull out my Borborygmos Enraged deck, which generally looses unless I hi Primal Surge
ABU's $80 - $200. Shocks $10 - $15. Fetches $40 - $80. Filterlands (I have no idea). Buddies $3 - $7.
Scry Lands, ~$5 each.
The Scry Lands are cheaper than almost all other decent duals. We can't forget that factor in the equation either.
