What happened with Kevin Brumley? I just noticed that all four of his DCI numbers were added to the suspended list on 2013-08-21 for all games with a suspension length of Lifetime.
Pithing Needle won't do anything most of the time because a majority of my activated abilities are mana abilities. When it does, or when I get a Null Rod where the sun don't shine, I go after Mind's Desire to cast through my deck and pump my storm count.
To deal with removal, I have four Second Sunrises and four Retracts on the side (to bounce the target if it's an artifact and thus fizzle the removal spell). As for discard and countermagic, those actually never got on my mind when I made this deck. So see the next post for the changes I've made.
Would it at all be possible for me to put some of these card ideas in the block I'm making? If by some beneficence of $DEITY you let me, I'll make sure to credit you as part of the design team

Enchantment Land T: Add 1 to your mana pool. 4, T: Xenolith becomes an Aura in addition to its other types and gains enchant creature and "Whenever enchanted creature deals combat damage to an infected player, add 1 to your mana pool for each poison counter that player has." If Xenolith becomes unattached, it stops being an Aura.
