    OoG apologia
I haven’t given this game the attention I should have, and would like to apologise to all involved.
Unfortunately at present I’m not in a position to properly address and adjust that, I hoped to have some free time before deadline and it just didn’t happen.

    I'm technically back now.

My only major question is for Osie: the Tau play puts a target on him. He's a player very confident in his ability to end game as scum. Why would he make a play virtually guaranteeing he doesn't end game? And corollary what is the thought process behind making that play in the chat as scum?

Potentially a 2 for 1 Gambit that raises a lot of wine in regards to who the scum is and how many are involved. Especially since Rhand+LW flipping town extremely lowers the chance of a Tom lynch, so Tom+Tau worlds fit well here. I could certainly imagine Tom coaching Tau through a play like this.

The same argument could be made for EtR, who I feel is more likely scum of the “neighbours”. (ISO me, I’ve droned about it awhile)
I will say that if Tau knew they weren’t going to be able to go the distance this game for whatever reason it makes it somewhat plausible for him to make the play as scum, but I’m not going to give that any more credence until seeing more of Highroller.
Also, how would Tom be able to coach Tau for a Day one play?

Look if you’re just skimming the game and stirring the pot, you’re naturally gonna miss some stuff.
I’ll try and break it down for you. (Even though you declined to bring it up with me)

Grape’s position on me has been decidedly town, even in the face of some alleged wolf behaviour. Why would I pocket him more?

Tom’s #1580 refers to the “neighbours”
In it he mentions the possibility of one of them being scum, and in conjunction with Grape/KJ, the possibility of one scum in four is higher. I don’t believe that scum is Grape, which influences my KJ read. I don’t believe that scum is Tau.

Paragraphs are too long, poopin sentences are too short...

I don’t like rice pudding with raisins, but that’s not really helpful.

I have mentioned my wavering on KJ. If I lock in a Grape read, I have to rate KJ higher.

Sure, D_V’s post count is high, quantity doesn’t equal quality if you take my meaning. They’re a town lean that I want to see more of. I want to see them push more.

You missed the best part of this paragraph, and a golden opportunity to engage with me, instead of looking for me to just be scum.

Rhand and Whisper were on EtR’s supposed scum team. Someone mentioned how that disproved the theory of EtR being scum and I don’t see it that way.

Soft outed is for sure, towniest is debatable. Just my thoughts on something else that has been discussed in thread.

    *wink and finger guns*

If there’s anything else you’d like to know about, feel free to bring it up with a third party in a most unflattering manner.

I am not going to like, I like this response. I don't like that I had to open a 2nd tab to try and figure out context of the each critique, but I like it.

What if I told you I would keep Grape as town, even if KJ flipped wolf?

I’d agree. I’d be surprised if KJ flips scum at this point, but I can see it as infinitely more likely than Grape.

The fact that you have Tubba higher than me right now tilts me in ways I can't even put into a single post on this site. I hope you can understand the rage filling my words write now, so that I do not have to use my time to write exactly how angry I am.

    Onto less spherical concerns...

I strongly agree with Grapes position on HR/Tau. The gambit is nonsensical from scumTau. His scum game IMO, is quite good and the gambit would be unnecessary noise and attention. If the “neighbours” have one scum, I’d be fairly surprised it was Tau. The only slim possibility I could see it occurring would be if they felt pressure to save a buddy. It was the middle of D1, nothing was happening to justify that. The absence following is disconcerting, but at the same time why not try to press the confusion into a mislynch.

I wouldn’t say Vaimes is super towny. I’d go townish. I’ve definitely seen townier Vaimes. Still I’ve seen enough good things to move him up from null.

This is town Grape, I’d bet 1000 gil on that. I was hesitant about KJ’s reliability regarding the green check and some of Grape’s positions earlier looked a little weird, but this is good old townGrape.

I really want D_V to be town. I’ve read them wrong every game so far because of clashing over playstyle. I want to see some more from them before I go stronger than a town lean.

Blah blah consensus town leans blah blah
The squishy middle is the interesting part. How do you bring something up without tipping the party in question off about it?

Still want to flip EtR, still thinks there’s a reasonable chance they’re scum, Rhand and Whisper’s flips don’t change anything for me there, if anything it makes me more curious.

Whisper probably died defending one of KJ or GF. (KJ is 85% lock town for me based on my Grape read.) Unless in the 15% world KJ is scum and wifom, but I feel despite the soft outing of a PR, it’d be more beneficial to nuke a green check over a random, possible, PR.

Scumslotting Vez over their placement (or lack thereof) of Hrape is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard, and I’ve heard everything I’ve ever posted. Anyone pushing that is gonna be getting some side eye.

The common usage of that meme format is as Grape described, but layers and nuance are getting big in the meme game.

    I’m going to work now.

It is mostly true, there was one game where Tom thought I was scum and was wrong (pretty sure it was Disinheritance) and some micro somewhere where I was scum and he was town reading me when we killed him. Tom might remember better than I. Those are exceptions to the general rule of Tom reading me like a book.

Also sup Tom. How are things? Why is anything you said alignment indicative for me? I will freely admit my catch-up post was a bit checklist-y, simply because it was a catch-up post. I wanted to get my thoughts out on everyone and current read of them, and post a T/S list for ordering purposes. Took me over an hour to do, so yeah maybe it didn't have quite the same emotion, but I sat down with the mentality of getting something done instead of eagerly commenting on some specific thing.

I feel like you are taking your scumreads of Mind and are trying to fit me into that box instead of just reading me naturally.

@Vez what exactly is kinda icky, like who or what is that in reference to? Me. GJ, both?

Also hey look Tubba had another pop in, says something weird, this time a meme that doesn't make sense to go with it.

Trash me as a mafia player all you want. Bring my meme game into this and it’s gonna get supes real, supes fast.

How about elaborating on my scumminess instead of bandwagoning onto how pointless I am. What post(s) in my ISO is making you think “Die Scum!”?

I see you push Kami for something I also did, but you don’t mention that in your initial scumlean of me. What’s different in those cases?

    It’s close enough

How do you claim to be starving for interaction and when given an opportunity for some, you just rebuff it? Is there only certain interactions you’re interested in? Why did you just shade me instead of engaging me?

If 25% of the player base died right now, I would be completely ok with that.

Grant me a gatling gun vig ability please.

    Shot#1? And why.
    Shot#2? And why.
    Shot#3? And why.

Assume you must make all shots at once.

With 16 alive, it’s 9 to lynch. Deadline is on March 8th.

Splitting the difference between two viable wagons, waiting to switch to the most likely lynch? Probably one off wagon at this point. If EtR is town that is. Did I win?
There actually can't be one of wagon if EtR is town. Grape and last are town also.

Do you think dv and Johnny are both scum them?

I was referring to the votal in question, and not the final vote count of the day. Maybe my math is wrong?
I’ve liked GJ so far and I’m not sure if I can accurately read D_V yet but I’ve felt town there as well.

What do you mean by “naked vote”? My reasoning on voting EtR was pretty well established in thread prior to my vote.
Also see my 605 and 772, two posts that reference you that you completely ignored.
