Like I'm not really trying to bully you into voting right this second.

Just...in general...please use your vote more. It makes it that much easier to tell the difference between frozen scum and indecisive town.

I can understand that, but I don’t know if we’re going to get anymore out of the day and I’m hesitant to put someone at L-1 until we’ve had a chance to look at everything. If the consensus is that we’re ready, I’ll vote.

I don’t expect the scum team to lynch themselves. Of the two viable wagons going right now, I’m of mixed minds.
I guess I would lean towards D_V, I feel like a player with his style would be doing more than arguing in circles. I’d prefer a Vez flip to be honest, but my teambuilding isn’t very strong and if Vez’s scum, I think it’s with D_V.

Consider my vote on D_V, but I want to reserve judgement for now.

    Can I downvote highroller's posts?

I’d like it better if you’d refute them with your own thoughts.

It’s a play style. I responded immaturely and didn’t think it through at the time properly. I view it now as kind of a “scorched earth” policy. Rattle everyone’s tree and see what falls down. I thought he was scum in PlayStation because of it, but I just wanted him to be. I think D_V is at best neutral this game. PlayStation D_V was abrasive and aggressive, but pursued things while doing so. Ghostbusters D_V seems like they’re just discrediting others without having a direction to take the game. Town D_V should be dragging us kicking and screaming somewhere? I don’t know.
I mean, he's certainly trying to drag us kicking and screaming somewhere. I think your description of what you expect his town meta to be matches pretty closely to his play, I just also happen to know the same thing lies well within his wheelhouse as a wolf. But how do you square your proposed meta reading of DV with your apparent light scum read?

That’s not how I see it. There’s no direction. It’s more like just muddying the waters, most notably with the EoD 2. That’s part of my neutral read. ScumD_V or townD_V should be trying to get us to kill someone. This D_V doesn’t seem to care one way or the other.

TBH I'm slightly lost this game.

PlayStation was me slightly being on fire.

But how the hell do you get off saying I'm discrediting people when ETR has constantly resorted to calling my posts "Incoherent"

I was asked about you, and provided my interpretation of the information I have. I have pointed out EtR’s willingness to keep himself open to move in any direction in a previous post.

I'm not gonna include any of the flipped players because they're either vanilla or did nothing relevant.

    Night 1:

    PRs:
D_V (repl. elijah) > flip reveal, delayed
    KamikazeArchon > slimed vezok
Tubba Fett > targeted Kami, blocked
vezokpiraka > searched tom, watched Kami
zdtsd (repl. Fuwa) > cocooned Highroller, delayed

Highroller, Vaimes, tomsloger > Ghostbuster, no Night action

    Unclaimed/VT:
    EtR
    Silvercrys3467 (repl. RE1031)
    Rumanshi

    -

    Night 2:

    PRs:
D_V (repl. elijah) > switched tom and RESilver
    KamikazeArchon > slimed DV
Tubba Fett > targeted vezok, delayed
vezokpiraka > searched/slimed Silver, switched to tom
zdtsd (repl. Fuwa) > cocooned tom, switched to Silver

Highroller, Vaimes, tomsloger > Ghostbuster, no Night action

    Unclaimed/VT:
    EtR
    Silvercrys3467 (repl. RE1031)
    Rumanshi

Kami claimed some form of protection they didn’t wish to elaborate on. Are cult games a thing on this site?

No and whoever brings up cults is doomed to be made fun of for the entire game. So lol Tubba, but no.

Anyway I think Ztd didn't get delayed night 1. It was just a misunderstanding from the mod. I might be wrong on this and ztd needs to clarify.

The one person I’m not prepared to accept an answer from is the one that answers it....
I’m just gonna jump on the ol’ hamster wheel for a bit.

    And it’s like.

Is he doing this on purpose to keep interactions to a minimum? I thought his Day 1 was pretty towny and now he’s just posting votes and being cryptic.

What was towny about his Day 1? He’s just seemed like a nonentity to me.
Like, come on. I ask for your thoughts on the game, and this is what you respond to?

“Thoughts on the game” is just so broad and fluctuating. The Ruma thing is something specific that I can roll around in my head.

I think that the missing information from flips is hurting town (at least myself), I’m having a hard discerning alignments from the interactions so far. I think D_V is more likely neutral or scum than town, I’m skeptical that cvsdhl’s claimed role is real/town, I don’t trust Vezok still, I’m feeling the ghostbusters are probably just all town, I think Kami is more likely neutral or town than scum, Ruma is an enigma until they start taking a stance on something, and I hope that’s soon, I’m on the fence with EtR, they seem solvey but they left themselves room to go in a lot of different directions. I think my ability has been squandered, that I maybe should have stayed quiet about having it instead of knee jerk reacting when it didn’t work on Kami, I don’t know that’s what I’m thinking right now.

I’m definitely better with specifics, and I prefer to analyze content and interactions than provide them, but if you ask me something I’ll do my best to fill you in on what I’m thinking.
Okay, I can work with that.

Tell me what you think of tom/EtR as a scumteam, putting aside tom's Ghostbuster status. Look at their interactions, their reads on each other, and their general approach to the game so far.

Well there was the potentially coachy moment after mine and EtR’s slap fight where it looked like he was trying to talk us away from each other. As far as similarities, they both seem to be keeping options open, EtR seemingly more so. Tom is hard to read by design, but I don’t feel like he’s pushing an agenda. I guess I couldn’t point out an agenda from EtR either, but knowing my alignment and fighting with someone about it leaves me biased towards scum feeling.

    Alright.
So Highroller, D_V is never going to admit what you seem to want him to. Just not ever going to happen. Everyone has seen the point you’re trying to make. Constantly hashing over the same territory just makes your point weaker. It’s basically all either of you have done/talked about this game. I get that you think you’ve caught D_V, but you can’t lynch him by yourself and what you’re doing now isn’t convincing (imo).

D_V, calling Highroller bad isn’t going to get him to stop going after you. It just makes the game feel bad. I understand you disagree with his findings, but we’re all operating with less than perfect information. If you think he’s town, than you need to move on and just accept that he’s either right town or wrong town. Continuing to engage with them over this point is a drag, and it’s not producing useful content.

    @Silver
A flip revealing his alignment would help me with the flavour gaming thing I have going on. Also, I hadn’t taken the claim as gospel, perhaps they’re why we don’t get full reveals. Standard practice is to get full reveals, to me something/someone is altering that. Lying close to the truth isn’t an unsound strategy.

    @Tom
Do you mean how I feel about EtR?

    @D_V
I’m not very familiar with your meta, but imo (and I know this going to sound laughable from a lurker like myself), you don’t seem to have done much in the way of scum hunting. Am I wrong and why?
