"My name is Riesig Brand. My friend back there is Adskhan. We have come about your advertisement. Is it still available?" He asked feeling rather uncomfortable in such formal settings.
The various slashing at the shades has had little help. It has been noticed though that the area that was previously scorched by the light beam is slowly being reverted back to darkness. Probably from the Shades consuming the light energy left there.
"Thanks." Riesig said as he headed to the room indicated. He went to the doors, and unsure of customs, knocked before saying, "Id this where the party of Montferrat is?"
"I'll let them know that you want to speak with them. If they want to, they'll seek you out. Not my place if they wants to speak with you or not." Jougo says as he joins in the acquisition of the lizard. "So we got a deal with everything?"
Riesig and Adskhan left wherever they were and headed to Sylvan. Riesig turned to Adskhan as they traveled at a brisk pace hoping to make it before the other adventure gets underway, "Thanks for those anger management techniques. Hopefully this will make me less of a scumbag."
Jougo pulled a look of exasperation, pulled out a lvl 1grenade, and threw it over his shoulder at the gates behind them. Seeming to be soothed by the explosion, he said "They are part of a different business arrangement. I don't even care if you make copies. I just need to get the originals. As for everything else, yeah. Sounds about right."
Locke found that when he opened his eyes to the rain falling down, it did indeed illuminate the room, however, it did not seem to have the strength to harm the Shades. The power was too dispersed.
On the other hand, everyone could now increase their terror level as with the rain, the writhing mass of shadows around them became slightly more discernible and they could now see the seemingly countless Shades swarming around them.
"Those notes would help with another problem I am having. But to get this woman off you back what that bird suggested should work. Maybe add some scales if you can shed any. But you probably shouldn't go see her. She would probably do something that would end poorly." Jougo said.
