This is what I'm running. You'll notice the only removal maindeck is Cast Out. That's by design so as to not be better or worse against mono red or UB control in game one. The 4x Gifted Aetherborn maindeck are there solely for the red deck matchup, not that there isn't enough lifegain already.
Lost Legacy in the sideboard is there for Approach. Vraska's Contempt comes in for the UB Control matchup, along with Duress. The 3x Dusk//Dawn are for the midrange matchup.
I'll update with my testing if this deck starts to work out for me.
This is actually one of my first posts here and I intend on helping develop this deck into the tier 2 archetype that Stompy deserves. I might even try to put this on paper as GP Charlotte is within the month and I'd really like to play, but I really need to be sure before I invest the money in worthless cardboard.
Giving the deck its namesake is playsets of Chord of Calling and Collected Company. Both cards give you enormous flexibility, not just in card advantage, but allowing you to both play around threats, and dig up answers when you need them. Chord is responsible for the singleton Dryad Arbor, because sometimes you just need a forest, and I'm not proud to admit I've done just that more than once on turn two.
My creatures are pretty much your standard fare for Stompy. Instead of Leatherback Baloth, I opted for a playset of Groundbreaker and here's why: Collected Company. Sure the odds of putting 2x into play are really low, and the odds of a lightning bolt clipping them before they meet face is inversely high, but he's explosive and gives the deck a little unpredictability.
So the one-ofs, tutorable by Chord of Calling, give us game one answers, extremely relevant in the Splinter-Twin matchup. Revoker, Skite, Warden, and Reclamation Sage can hit the board at instant speed, and the sideboard basically expands on that, adding 3 more of each to give me a little bit of interactivity that mono green generally doesn't have. I included 3x Loaming Shaman to the sideboard as a tutorable form of graveyard hate. I had Gaea's Hearld in that slot before and Oak Street Innkeeper is also on the list for creatures I'm willing to try.
I'll expand on testing as I get enough data to be relevant. I will say that I've improved my matchups against Twin and Infect greatly.
First, download the basic mws from magicworkstation.com and install it in a new directory. Then, without adding the updated masterbase, add the gatecrash spoiler like normal.
From here, load up the RTR and any other spoilers.
Note this is just a work around.
And as always, join #draft4you at Magic-League on irc.solidirc.com where we're running 3x Gatecrash drafts.
Thanks for all the hard work getting this patch up and running so quickly. Memnarch, I found a small bug in your patch that was causing it to crash when I tried generating sealed decks. You had every other land listed as an artifact. Here is the corrected patch. This one installed just fine on my system.
Still getting the mwsdraw.dll error on this.
I'm using the mtgbr mws.
By the way, once we get this text spoiler sorted out, I'll have a netdraft patch up.

Wight of Precinct Six's casting cost should be 1B and not B.
