What is the proper resolution of Cathartic Reunion and Spell Queller? Discard two cards for the original casting, and then discard two more when Queller leaves?
I'm really interested in this kind of deck. What do you think of a creatureless-Izzet Bazooka-Fateful Showdown kind of deck with a sideboard of 4 Thermo-Alchemist, 4 Thing In the Ice, and a couple of Bedlam Revellers... maybe a couple of Stormchaser Mages?
The idea being that they sideboard out all their creature removal after the first game, and you sideboard out the expensive spells for the creatures.
Flaying Tendrils
Works well with Matter Reshaper. Potentially a T3 boardwipe, that exiles all creatures instead of just killing them. With alot of graveyard shenannigans in the coming set, this might just turn out to be our ace in the hole.
If I'm not mistaken, Flaying Tendrils and Matter Reshaper is a nonbo, because Tendrils replaces dying with exile, which prevents the Reshaper from activating.
How important is the Den Protector - Deathmist Raptor combo? I have not been able to participate much in this Standard season, so I haven't seen it in action so much.
So far, it's looking like Delirium is a bit too slow to activate. Neither of these cards are very likely to flip in the first 6 or 7 turns unless Sinister Concoction nails it and some instant or sorcery has gone into the graveyard. Too often, I have seen them sitting unflipped while my opponent is making cool moves and hurting me. I thought Delirium might be workable, but seems to be only as a later-game thing.
Autumnal Gloom is a definite as well, the changing on your end step is so nice, and Sinister Concoction is great for enabling Delerium for both these cards.
I'm not seeing a lot of Ever After in builds here, it could really be game-deciding with some of these builds, and so sweet for Sin Prodder.
So they can make Monastery Doppelgänger but give us some not-so-solid Wolves besides the token maker and planeswalker? Can't wait to see the other uncommon werewolves.
Immerwolf should make a return. Or have some human that flips and does Immerwolf's effect.
Lost 2 of my four rounds to lucky bastards who pulled mythics. Basically, my deck was better but for the awesome rares and mythics these guys pulled. First round, went down to Ulamog and Deceiver of Form... which wasn't the worst. The worst was losing the last round to the douche who pulled a promo foil Chandra, Flamecaller, and a regular Chandra's Flamecaller, and an Oath of Chandra, and a Dread Defiler.
It really sucks to know that I had the better deck than either of them, and just lost to their blind luck. Yes, I had to face four Chandras in those two games. I still would have won if the Dread Defiler didn't show up to end the game. Someday I'll get a useful Mythic in a prerelease. It's always been the other guy that got it/them.
This is really good for RDW or Atarka Red for the same reason that Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh is good - the sheer amount of 1- or 2-drops. On turn 3 , just cast this after a Swiftspear. Or Zurgo. Or Wild Slash. or Titan's Strength.

WTF is Monastery Doppelgänger?

This will see Constructed play.
Damn right you do!
