You need to talk to the Judge/tournament organizer before you take your pool and walk.
At my LGS, on all prereleases, you must play your first round or face a ban. Wizards penalizes them for people who register for prerelease but do not play atleast one round so they will not tolerate people getting their prerelease packs and leaving immediately.
Sitting down to write 0-2 and checking drop box doesn't really mean playing the first round. This a recent change? I know for Khans people just grabbed their midnight boxes and rolled out.
The ramp does seem excessive considering the list, but some is required.
I think the Claws works better, especially since more often than not it's a 3 dmg spell without the sac requirement, plus it can actually be a mid-game finisher.
I'm not a fan of Shamanic Revelation while you still have Shaman of the Great Hunt, Revelation seems more SB to me.
It will drop, I think fetchlands will reflect the Thoughtseize path. Originals will command a chunk more, but $15-$20 average seems like a good landing spot. Some higher or lower based on decks doing good.
While it does raise the price on standard, the goal of the reprint was to bring the fetchlands to modern, this lowering the entry point on some fetches. Did we take that theory when shocklands or thoughtseize came back? I'd hope not, cause I'm sure the vast majority would prefer these needed reprints rather than worry about the overall price of standard in a certain block era.

-2 hordeling outburst
+4 craters claws
+2 Magma jet
+1 Shaman of the Great Hunt
I like the straight forward burn spells. Crater allows growth, magma an early burn plus the Scry.

No creature finisher like Prognostic Sphinx or Pearl Lake Ancient?
I know you are splashing the blue and my mentioned options are quite blue, but you need some extra finisher option that can close the game?
Also, didn't U/W top 8 the pro tour? Must be room for a variant to be successful there right?
