    I agree with stage and depths because I can't tell you how fustrating it can be to spent all game trying to lock opponent out and then start pit beat down to lose to bull****. I'm not saying out should come out but it can be too slow at times. So both might not be a bad idea and as sparki said te black still helps with EE. I too like 4/4 grove/fire, helps way too much. My question is that if we do take on new combo but wanna keep pit, what to take out? I've just had bridge and orb save my ass too much to side it or god forbid take it out completely.

    I think the Jund ad bug match seem a little rough. My buddy built a bug deck and I'm just having the hardest time beating shaman. First shaman really hurts me even if I get a crazy but draw not to mention jace and Lilly. Even after sideboard they can bring in loam of their own and surgical and/or extirpate cards and that's more crap. I'm sure md cursed totem is the way to go now but they have stupid decay for that haha! I've been toying around with barbarian ring because it can kill shaman, walkers and even act as a finisher and/or population control for your opponents creatures. It just seems like bug and Jund are real decks and are going to be around for awhile so any other ideas to help deal with these menaces?

    TalonXXX: I like the list, have you gotten a chance to play test the jace a lot? If so how did it work out for you, cause yeah jace is the tits and would work well in the deck, but I would just be worried about going into dredge mode with the deck and just mill them into my graveyard and just have no way to get him back and it was just for nothing. Tutor can't get him either, I mean intuition could but you would have to grab all three and I don't know if I like that plan. I like jace, but I just wish it was easier to consistently use him ad have him come into play.

    What Thalia does do is give you a nice clock games 2 and 3 while also hampering Combo and Tempo decks

    Thalia is good, but you need to cut something for Krosan Grip or Seal Of Primordium


    this is true, could you give me an example then of what my sideboard should look like to hopefully cover me from most angles?

    Anyway I don't like Decay has a replacement for Krosan Grip because it doesn't deal with Leyline of the Void..


    this is true, and yeah i mixed up the decks, I wish i was able to see Bobby's match ups and how we won/lost to get a better idea, because i want this deck to work and i feel like it could be a power house in the right meta, basically taking people by surprise, because even the doode in the deck tech said that lands wasn't really well positioned in the meta game currently, but it doesn't seem like a lot of combo is running around, so i feel like the deck could be good and just take advantage of creature heavy decks, etc.

    The only control deck I worry about with Lands is the mirror (which is incredibly grindy) and Loam Pox (which has a similar strategy to Lands, but Liliana + Pox effects can easily shut you out of the game)


    yeah lilly seems like she can be a problem, i mean, i don't really mind the discard especially if we're holding something to discard like loam or a land, but that ultimate makes me nervous, but getting EE for 3 is easier than 4 so it's not so bad, what does chalice get put on for some of the other matches?
