I feel like somebody had to do this.
Basically, this is what I think Ramp will look like post rotation.
In my eyes, the tools are all there - we got Ramp, defensive measures and big spells.
Mana Bloom might not be optimal, but the rest of the deck should be able to pull off some ridiculous comebacks and compensate for rough starts.
Basically, this deck is a hybrid of Ramp and UW Miracles, featuring Miracles swingy spells combined with Ramps ability to actually hardcast them.
The absence of Supreme Verdict is a nod to Zombies, who laugh at any sweeper not named Terminus.
If UW Tempo is a deck, some number of Verdicts has to be added to the 75.
As soon as I have better Internet access, I will write more, like a category about cards that could be here, but aren't.
Slaughter Games will not see play. How many people played Memoricide? Almost no one, and it was only in the board if it ever was. Besides, what are they going to do? Entreat? Fine, I'll jut be here making a Tamiyo Emblem while you're dead. Out of the board we will have additional threats, like Isperia and Jace. Memoricide is not a problem.
Cranial Extraction was a big player back in Kamigawa+Ravnica T2, so I wouldn't jump any conclusions before we see the metagame take form.
On a completely unrelated note, I have this quite Miracle-heavy, Rampesque Bant build and I got no clue whether this would qualify as UWx Miracle Control or whether it's Ramp.
I do realize that this deck may have some weaknesses, like Temporal Mastery being too cute to be good and/or the lack of Planeswalkers, but I think the power level is there.
Farseek, Mana Bloom and the Keyrunes serve as Ramp, with Temporal Mastery doing it's best imitation of Explore in the early game.
I am not sure whether Armada Wurm is as good as it looks - maybe it's better off as Drogskol Reavers or PWs. 10 semi-evasive power on the ground is impressive, but I don't know whether it's on the level of "impressive" this deck aims for.
I see Terminus as the best Wrath against everything not UW Tempo and Revelation as the high-impact spell a deck like this needs.
If some people think this list is too much Ramp to be considered Miracle Control, I'll open a thread for it, if not - well, bring on the criticism.
Sure, but at least with the Healer you got something out of your 3 mana.
That's one reason. The other one is that Zombies will likely be Tier 1 and Healer into Huntmaster into Thragtusk seems unbeatable for them.
Not being counterable hardly seems important, Mana Leak rotates and Control seems to want to tap out every turn rather than bother with the stack.
The discard clause also seems rather useless.
Maybe Smiter gets better with Gatecrash, but for this set, I wouldn't bet on it.
Naya doesn't have the mana base unfortunately. When you consider Jund shocklands BG,BR and ISD lands, you can see a solid base. Naya has GW shocklands, and that's it. Come Gatecrash, when we get a full set of shocks, Naya will be tits. Till then it's a bit outclassed.
That's where Borderland Ranger comes in.
Looking at the list I provided, I went with "GW splash R" rather than full blown tricolor, unlike some of the Jund builds I've seen.
I know constructing a 3 color mana base seems tough with only 1 guild supporting it, but considering that this deck doesn't really need a lot of red mana nor does it need it early on, I think it could work out.
Also, the interaction of Restoration Angel and Thragtusk seems so strong, that it has to find a home in the new Standard - and I don't think Bant midrange can compete with Naya. Huntmaster and Bonfire are too strong and should outclass everything Bant midrange could offer.
Not much of an Aggro list, this deck is more interested in abusing Restoration Angel + Thragtusk/Huntmaster of the Fells and bashing with a gigantic, flying, double striking Silverheart.
Plus, it got the "lolz, I win" button called Bonfire.
Thalia didn't make the cut because of the relatively high spell count.

Lists and thoughts on the archetype are welcome!
€1: Changed to get Farseek and the Wurm in there.
