What is the best card against goblin deck that carrying tuk tuk scrapper in the MB and 2-3 Krosan grip (it mean you rely to sword, batterskull and jitte because they usually destroy it the moment is show up)
I Have a confession to make. Logically when I decided to enter the Legacy Format I must say 'IT'S A BIG MISTAKE'
WHY?
Pros :
It stops me from playing T2 (which It's GOOD by the way help me to save money)
Cons :
- It make me addicted to it (ADDICTED) (I say it's a dangerous word like smoking or One Night Stand)
- I just realize I spend +/- $900 just for MTG (For my gaming or having fun budget it is bad but hey it helps me to avoid prostitute or whatever badstuff that mens/boys like to (says Smoking, Drunk, One Night Stand, Clubbing, Partying, Fast Foods, etc) :P)
Anyway yes to start playing legacy you just need to start it do it slowly and buy only cards that you need for you starter legacy decks. The first step is I recommended to go collect legacy staples like Force of Will, Wastelands, Dual Lands, and Fetch Lands
And then you can go collect the rest of the cards that is needed for your legacy deck that you like to build
Remember a year or more is nothing because this format is eternal.
Maybe you can pass your decks to your kids
Btw I do the hardest path for this Format that is Getting A JOB

I think we play surgical extraction because of it's ability to surprise people to play it at zero mana at instant speed. IMHO the instant speed and the surprise element is more powerfull than one mana cost with can't be countered ability (extirpated)

3 Oblivion Ring -> I prefer change 1 Oblivion Ring to Disenchant
1 Gatekeeper of Malakir -> why not using geth verdict or diabolic edict I think the instant speed is more important
1 Sword of Fire and Ice -> why not this in the MB ?,
1 Nihil Spellbomb, 2 Extirpate -> I still prefer 3 Surgical because it's instant and can be cast using zero mana left (instant surprise in tapped out land) and it can bypass leyline of sanctity

Yes I agree with you too but I think Surgical is not suppose in the MD unless your current meta infested by blue deck using brainstorm or dredge mechanic

For me Italia deck is good on paper but bad in real world

Have you tried stony silence or null rod ? My G** those card effectively kill affinity (even their artifact land can not produce mana insane right) good sideboard too for counter balance deck and another stoneblade deck (Shut down thoper foundry and sensei). For Belcher Deck use the Hymn to tourach and Thalia to screw their counts also Zealus is good to handle empty the warren storm hehehe

If you go Red (read Italia deck B/W/R) from my experience you will get 3 big cons
-You cannot play basic lands because you need a stabilized mana based so you will get easily victim of wastelands
-You will get more slowly tempo (maybe became late game wins)
-The Deck will become more expensive

-Your get the best Sideboard against blue deck (pyroblast and red elemental blast)

Yes Enginereed Plague seem good but we need at least two to complete lockdown the battlefield

Ghostly Prison or humility seem a good card because I'm always died because of the goblin swarm
Nope Thalia seem good to me because She do have a first strike and if my opponent suddenly become a combo or control deck TADAA he/she get a complicated mana count

I think I agree with you of the thoughtseize life lost well I change it to Inquisition right away and boy the humility is seem another bullet for the mean Sneak and Show Deck (have you been experience Emrakul at turn 1 it really
shocking)
The Tombs stalker is for the Finisher after I lock the opponent battlefield this mean Demon usually casting cost BB because I exile a 6 cards from my graveyard. And because I use Sensei I lower the chance I draw it using Dark Confidant

Well IMHO I think if you go legacy just focus on it (what I mean is you can ignore the modern format)
WHY?
