Behind the tavern, a scruffy old man climbs up to the surface from a ledge about 5' down the cliff with a stone slab about 12"x12"..
He makes it up and puts the slab into is sack. Then stands up and slaps the tree nearest him.
Ha! I told ya I could do it you shrub of a tree. Phew Im thirsty though..
Blarg makes his way into the tavern (where he had been in before his bet with the tree trying to sell the owner some not so fabulous art pieces) to the bar, not paying much attention to the drama going on.
I know I know.. you don't want to buy my fine artwork.. this time I need something from you.. Do you have any mud? If not Ill just take a glass of water. That tree out there bet me i couldn't get this pretty rock from beyond the cliff, well I showed him huh.. and now Im thirsty see.. And don't try to persuade me to sell you my art, Because I don't want to sell it to you, unless you want it, Then maybe I will.
here is a picture of one set I made out of a card that wasn't a basic land. And I am currently working on 2 other sets that are made of non land cards.. Ill post pics when they are done
Have you looked into using actual cards? I'd love to see a set made out of a black card, so the number dots show up better. Also the dot marks seem a bit sloppy on some of them, not sure what utensil could fix that.

They are made of actual cards. unless you mean cards that aren't basic lands. I have made some out of non land cards too. The dots can be whatever color you want.. and im looking into a stensil, though i've gotten a lot better at the painting part. And thank you.

If they are made how I think they are made, they do not seem particularly sturdy. They look like amazing counters, but might not be satisfying to roll with.
Then they are probably not what you think. I assure you they are sturdy, durable and feel just like regular dice. I can't say they wont break if you run them over with a car, or any thing crazy like that, but they are solid. Here is a link to a video of them being rolled. Keep in mind I took the video on my phone, with the sun showing straight through the window so the dots (which can be made any color) can't bee seen with the best of clarity. thanks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20jaovr0e8I
Hearing the sound of someone coming at her from behind, she looked over her shoulder to see the Oscarian running at her with his sword drawn. Using her Dagger impaled in the man's head as if it were a handle for some puppet, and hugging him with her left she swung the newly killed man around her, hoping his body would catch the blade of his ally.
She pulled out the Kris from the mans gut quickly, hopefully cutting even more arteries on its way out, and as he jutted his snout out attempting to bite her she gave him a quick uppercut with her Kris straight up under his chin.
Her back hit the wall with a thud and she fell to the ground at the lizard mans feet. She ignored the pain she felt as she flung her right arm out to withdraw her kris, while simultaniously casting Spark twice at the cultists' groin with her left, then thrust her self with as much force as she could muster upward leading with her dagger pointed straight at his gut.
As she saw the man rush toward her, she released her Kris back into her sleeve. She held her ground just as the Lizard man was about to get her, then quickly jumped out of the way, pushing off the wall with the foot that was there allowing his spear to penetrate the wall but not her and hopefully get stuck. As she jumped past the man, with her right hand she magnetically grabbed onto the mans shoulder guard and flung herself up to the man's shoulders aided by her momentum from pushing off the wall. She crossed her legs in front of his chest and magnetically gripped his helmet and attempted to pull it off of his head.
She was amused to see the two groups of moron Cultists charging at each other. How silly she thought.
She backed up a bit to the wall waiting for the two sides to engage, She would wait until they were all easily distracted with one another.
She flung her Right arm down to her side drawing her Kris and Leaned against the wall with her left foot against it just under her butt. She watched as these bafoons rushed to their deaths with such enthusiasm. Hey, maybe she wouldn't even need to get her hands dirty.
Well, I must say this is not exactly what I had in mind. She leans over to Golan and whispers in his ear.Should we bet on who goes cold first? and smiles. She was obviously being sarcastic and trying to lighten the mood.
On a more serious note, I think we should make a plan. We need to defeat these jack holes here and get back to the others, who I'm sure will do fine. Then once we all meet back up, come up with an escape plan. Do that plan, take what loot we can find and possibly burn the whole place down upon our exit. Now, anyone got any ideas on details, because that's all I got.
She then precedes to tie her hair into a bun only using her hair to keep it in place. She would need it out of the way after all and could not risk it getting cut during the impending battle.
She gave quite a grin at Jabril. Unsuprised by betrayal as that was a frequent in her line of work.

Knowing that she would soon pass out as well, being that she ate her entire bowl while side tracked by all the shiny potential, she instead scooted away from the violence as to not get hit by any crossfire. Sat against a wall and leaned her head back. Then she Thought S***, its probably slave trade. Oh well, Ive handled that before... They better not mess with my hair, or I'll be really pissed. and awaited her inevitable slumber.
She was very happy to be eating at such a fine establishment. The excitement of being around many well to do people in such a crowded place overwhelmed her. She wanted to get out and see more of the town. Perhaps after the meal the crew would have some time to wonder for a bit. She ate her soup daintily enjoying every taste. Of course her escapades would have to wait till this meal was over, it wasn't something she wanted to cut short, especially at the expense to some one else' purse.
At the taste of her last bit of soup she softly set her spoon down and patted her mouth with a towel.
How fantastic Jabril. This is truly exquisite. And this town is so festive and full of life. I would hope very much to see more of it. How long do you suppose we will be here anyway?
