Good call on the person who said we'd see them in this Theros. Those will be nice to see and great mana fixing for standard.

I owe you an apology too. I didn't think WOTC was willing to actually put the entire cycle in standard, well, other than shocklands. Nevertheless, I am impressed.
That was my thought too. Personally, I wouldn't say way worse, but not as efficient as him. One can pretty much play a Brawl version using this. A big plus he has over Yawgmoth, Thran Physician is that the God is indestructible, and can still funtion in play as a simple enchantment if devotion is turned off. For me those are huge.
However, yes, Yawgmoth I think is more efficient all around.
This thread going to turn into the other one? Because the card itself is pretty cool, and we’re only a page deep and here comes the BS.
I know, right? If there was another thread regarding hate speech, I am sadly unaware of it. Anyways, as previously stated, we should get back to the card. Have fun ya'll!
Mechanics-wise:
So Oko here can give you a 3/3 every second turn. Unfortunately, if he wants to protect himself the turn he ETB, he needs an artifact he can transform. Seems like my best option for him in Modern is Whirza, which needs the clock when it gets Stony Silenced...
So, these cards ARE in the collectors boosters as well, correct? I personally wasn't able to find that information in the article. I am going off of what the OP had stated.
Sigh. WOTC should have had Terese Nielson do the art for these like with what was done last year. Imagine how beautiful and desired it would have been if she had done the art for these.
And there are your ten-land cycle (albeit at common) that someone was complaining about in an earlier thread.

Smooth. Commons are reprinted time and again, and aren't even considered in this case, but, alright.
If you're expecting a cycle of ten lands of the same calibre then that's a bit off.

Not off at all. It is a falicy in understanding why it is only 5 lands from a cycle, even from the perspective of R&D. It makes sense that players like consistency and like to complete parts of their collections.
I have noticed as well and been meaning to ask, why do you say "buster" in your posts? I have always been curious.
Yeah, he did do a good job with his art. I actually wouldn't have been mad if this was real personally for limited purposes.

I did state that, yes.
You can read the wiki on plenty of details about him here, and he hung out with the Amazing Lucas and Black Mike that last weekend as told here.
Now that it has been settled and before this thread derails, let's get back to the card...
Perhaps Darksteel Relic can be used here? Can be traded and then the opponent would have useless chaff pretty much.
That, how they dress, and with Oko being a prankster, probably both pretty witty with their retorts.
Also, he's Jewish.
Looks like Milo Yiannopoulos.
Meh, card looks inefficient anyways. Probably a limited bomb though.
