I was initially bothered when I saw this card, but thinking of all it's uses in the decks that I am building and using, it isn't AS great as I originally thought. It is comparable to Mox Amber with it's use in commander, and highly specific. If you get it in you opening hand, cool, if not, if can be used later for commander tax as I stated on the first page of this thread. It only has it's intended use towards paying for your commander to come out, but honestly, that's it. What makes Black Lotus amazing is that it can be used for anything in the game, which is why Lion's Eye Diamond is so powerful as well in many formats. The greater the reach that the card can contribute with varied formats, will better state how powerful a card is. This card is frankly not as powerful as the hype around it is generating, and I am going to be patiently waiting until long after the release of this set for it's price to drop heavily before I pick one up.

Does the game also track the mana's condition beyond the phase if not spent right away?

Technically, with Kruphix out the colorless mana left over isn't even the same mana as the colored mana created by the lotus previously, right?

Interesting question. With Horizon Stone in the set I imagine this will need to be addressed.

Dark Souls has it's ten-year aniversary next year, but so does Skyrim. I'd love to have Alduin in the game in some form or another.

EDIT: Not literally, but as an alternate skin probably.

Meh. I don't really care when other stuff gets involved into the game.

And yet the mods never seem to get them. I've been flagged multiple times for actually complaining about it over the past couple of years when this site really went down hill. I'd make comments like, can we cut the bull and get back on topic? And then I'd get flagged for participating in the "fight". And yet I would wager the people who posted horrible nonsensical fights for pages upon pages got the same punishment as me; a slap on the wrist, because they are STILL here.

It is one of the most annoying things about this site. I've been here for a long time, and I hate to sound like some kind of old-timer, but it did use to be a better place.

It only makes me mad because actual "good" discussion gets lost in the Hate and bull*****, and then the threads get locked. It is kind of funny, I agree, because people really try to act like they are Arcanis the Omnipotent when they are just someone behind a computer screen talking about a card game.

It's ridiculous.

In Commander, the relevant format here, White is the worst color. You have to work twice as hard to make White keep up with the other colors. Acting like that isn’t true is what makes you a contrarian. And you accusing other people of having personality disorders is like the pot calling the kettle black.

I'm on this forum, so not sure how I excluded myself from that.

It's not twice as hard. That's the whole point. It is maybe 10% harder, if that.
