BFZ or OGW are not good long-term investments. they are both printed in the hundreds of millions. they are nice cards but not investment cards because supply is too high. there will always be BFZ and OGW booster boxes on ebay that will easily meet demand.
A common card in standard will never be worth money. They are over-printed. It does not mean that they wont find value in some decks, but in regards to $,they are worthless.
I always get in trouble for not being in love with every single thing that MTG makes. I have been collecting and playing MTG cards for years, and I have never seen such poor art as that in the Khans set. The images are dark, blurring, untalented, poor. The fact that MTG put together such poor art says to me that they have lost their 'magic'. I only hope that the poor art in this deck does not doom MTG, which would cause the vintage sets to lose their value. WoTC has to do a better job vetting their product.
Please, as an official art assessor, share with us your well-written, professional evaluation.
NOPE! If you really think that the overall art in Khans is good, then you will not understand a professional evaluation. Sorry Trolly
I agree that the art on the fetch lands are good in Khans. OK, fine. But what about the other 250 cards? As a whole, the Khans art is poor and I stand by my statement.
This does not happen often. It only happens when a dealer is stealing from his customers. Which pack did you buy? I find it sad that a dealer would actually open the packs to steal the rare and replace it with a worthless one. I am curious to know which set the pack came from.
Since it is from EB, I would say that there is a loser punk worker who is opening up the packs. I would go to the store and tell the owner so he/she can figure out who to fire.

Well he could be silencing during the upkeep. But pithing needle cost 1 though, so you can cast it before he plays scepter. Honestly, though if you think something as weak as scepter/chant is "so broken it needs to be banned" in legacy(?), then you have a lot of developement as a player you still need to do. Banning that "combo" isn't going to make you a better player. Learning how to beat it will.
I think the problem is that there are two newbies making mistakes. If my opponent has silence imprinted on his untapped scepter, and I try to cast a spell, then my opponent will tap his scepter and then I cant cast anything. What am I missing? Instead of mocking newbie, explain what I am missing here?
Pithing needle is another super cheap (mana and money) card that can go in any deck your building.
But, I would not be allowed to cast pithing needle if the isochron scepter/silence combo is already on the battlefield. He will just tap his lands and prevent pithing needle from ever resolving.
when my opponents casts a spell that benefits him, he usually stands up and snaps his fingers and starts to hymm a song. I have to use all my energy to not slug him.
Oh. Wait, I seem to notice a pattern here. If you play instants or creatures with flash... you can respond to the spell copy of Silence/Orim's Chant, because those cards don't do anything until they actually resolve! This means that, perhaps, you shouldn't just load up a deck with cards that can only be cast when the stack is empty and it's your turn (IE, stop loading up a deck with nothing but creatures). And, of course, if you are going to load up on those cards, it's not like you still don't have options in Grand Abolisher, Price of Glory, etc..
Thank you Pook and Pie. I will use those cards in my deck. And, yes, my opponent is an ass and I am a newbie so the combo is frustrating for me.
We are learning the game in real time and we have another question. Does the 6-forest mana cost for Primalcrux count towards his power/toughness calculation? Along those same do the mana cost for Erebos, God of the Dead count towards his own devotion? Thank you, Magnus
Is it wrong for me to think that Isochron Scepter is a BS card? If you combine it with Silence or Counterspell then the game is over. Your opponent cannot cast any spells. I'm surprised central command at MTG did not see the flaw in this card's power. Isochron Scepter should be banned.

Thank you Krichiushii. I'll fix my deck and see how it goes. I am currently playing Red and White.
