    I dont know the particulars of your UR but one option is just to go faster then them, spell combos tend to be faster then creature combos and UR is pretty good at storm. Also as others have suggested Torpor Orb.

    Why are people so mad? MLD is one of the easiest things to counter in magic: play more land in your deck/hold onto your lands once you have enough/play a low curve deck. It is really that simple, I get that players don't like adapting but you kinda have two choices: adapt to MLD and make your deck have slightly worse match ups against other strategies or don't have have bad match ups against MLD decks.

    Build a mediocre storm list with really any UR general. If you make a not very good storm list it sometimes goes off and does crazy things and other-times you start your storm and it just kinda falls flat, but never does the same things twice.

    5-6 mana do noting cards are not good. If they are good in your play group then I guess that's a thing, but I don't think many of the rest of us have much problems with them. I will concede that Rift is a good card that can win games but its nowhere near ban territory.

    Cards I would cut:

    -Phyresis, Glistening Oil,Corrupted Conscience Cute but kinda meh.
    -Any two keyrunes
    -Mindover matter, Teferi mage of Zahalfir Both Very powerful cards that seem a bit out of place as they don't have much synergy with the rest of the deck.
    -Darksteel Plate I have always found it to be kinda slow and not very useful.
    -Phyrexian Tyrrany seems not that great
    -Hivemind seems like a win more card

    Cards I would add:

    +Grafted Exoskeleton what other poison cards want to be.
    +Mana Geyser Tons of mana to cast spells is fun
    +Comet storm something to do with all that mana also can act as spot removal.
    +Time Spiral Free Wheels are always nice.
    +Sensei's Divining top
    +Scroll Rack sets up wheels nicely
    +Torpor Orb I've gotten Concessions form this card alone.
    +Overburden Wreaks some decks.
    +your favorite two counterspells/spot removal

    Whenever Silly reanimater guy enters the battlefield or attacks, you may return target permanent card with converted mana cost 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.

    At the beginning of your upkeep, if an opponent controls more lands than you, you may search your library for up to three basic land cards, reveal them, and put them into your hand. If you do, shuffle your library.

    Get rid of stuff thing U
    Instant

    Exile target creature. Its controller gains life equal to its power.

    Mass get rid of stuff thing 2UU
    Sorcery

    Destroy all creatures. They can't be regenerated.


    See how silly those cards are? They would never be printed with those mana costs, because in fact they are all white cards. Blue does have the best slice of the color pie, but its slice is actually pretty narrow, white has by far the largest slice of the color pie. It the best removal for every kind of permanent (except walkers) using both mass and targeted removal has the most persistent threats and is able to recur those threats. While its true white does not have strict card advantage white gains card advantage through incremental trades and their stuff not dieing/staying dead as easily as other colors.

    The OP's main complaint about green as far as I can tell is that they don't have answers to stuff. I really don't see that as a problem they should be a 'answer me' color not the 'I have answers' Color. Besides green has some of the best/most abundant answers for both artifact and enchantments.

    The large majority of blue/black cards that are 'broken' are from quite old sets and without banning them their wont be any real change. In recent sets Wizards has done quite a good job (I think) of balancing the colors. I believe that they have put a little bit too much power into creature but that is another debate.

    TL: DR different colors do different things old sets are broken.

    I like in combo decks where you want as many "free" counters as possible, however it would be my 3rd pick for this function after both force of will and Pact of negation.
