Their deck is def going in the right direction as it is a lot more aggresive vs the 12 creature variants. There is just wayyy too much control out there for the deck to be this slow.
Tested the B/R deck tonight and I'm not sure it can handle 4 Mutavalt...getting BB and RR on turn 3 is tough and sucks when you have a BB card yet RR etc. Seemed a lot I had 2 actual lands and 1 Mutavault and it ended up screwing me.
I thought about the duals but in the end it didn't seem to make a huge difference compared to power level.
White does handle enchants and artifacts better but black definitely gets planeswalker better and that I believe is more important when you have low threat count.
Don't forget Rakdos keyrune which is awesome as well
I am very new to modern so I am not sure how it usually goes once you involve all those lands
It is this coming Saturday.
Can you point me in the right direction for the post you are talking about??
Good to see you here!!
I got a Modern Grand Prix coming to my town this weekend. Never played a game of Modern in my life.
Figured I would try burn and who do I see posting but you. Awesome. Probably going to run your list.
Played there today mysself actually.

I find myself asking..why the white then? If its a mere removal tradeoff.
I'm thinking black might be the better option after all...
