If you do want to go with Scion, be aware that he's commonly viewed as a Combo General, and will get you hated off most tables. that might not be the best experience of EDH for you.
This is an odd statement; could you elaborate?
Also, I know what the Vivid lands are, but could you be more specific with the others?
No, it doesn't. That's why it's better to copy dragons with abilities that trigger on damage (Darigaaz, Balefire) rather than ones with ETB abilities (Broodmate, Bladewing).
Riiiight. I can still include them, but I shouldn't look for them when using Scion's ability. Those specific dragons should be reserved for other deck searching and recursion cards.
Exactly. The Mimeoplasm would be a nice addition to your creature list, by the way.
Good thing I already own it!
Well... You don't. But it's a risk you might want to take because holding mana open for counterspells slows you down a lot.
Then again, that's why I included Vexing Shusher. If I can make him hexproof early on, counterspells become less threatening.
You have a point on that, though. You might want to mix some elements of control to make sure your dragons/fatties hit.
Do you have any specific ideas? Or is it just general counterspells you're referring to?
By the way, is this deck for 1vs.1 or multiplayer?
If possible, I'd like to make it applicable to both.
What is your approximate budget for this deck, if there is one?
Bladewing is good, but there's something I'm unsure about with Scion: If you copy a dragon from your library through Scion's ability, does that count as them entering the battlefield?
So a good focus for this deck would be fatties and recursion then... Use Scion to get the dragons into the graveyard, then use other, much cheaper spells, to get them out. I like that.
What I don't get is how to handle counterspells, and huge spells I really don't want to happen.
EDIT: Which angels are you referring to 3mag?
And how could I forget about the Tracker?! That has to be my FAVORITE card in the game right now!
Hello everyone. This is my first post on this forums, and it seems to be a rather ambitious one. I'm trying to build a deck that can... do quite a bit, but is mostly focused on Aggro. I tried to include what I thought were good creatures, along with some utility (recursion, mana acceleration, removal, counters, deck searching, etc), along with some big spells that could, potentially, end the game. I'm not sure about the lands, as I'm still green in that regard. I'm not sure what Planeswalker I want for this deck; I was thinking about Nicol Bolas, but I don't know how well he would fit here.
Note: Since I am still new to the forums, I'm not sure exactly how to get the formatting right. If you help me out with that (or just excuse it entirely) that would be great.
Also, it is entirely possible that I may not be able to obtain some of these cards, so this hypothetical deck is very mutable.
As an update, I'm down three more cards, as Simulator let me know that a couple cards were illegal in this format. The other had to go because another card already performed its function, and because I don't have the Black mana to do something significant with it.

Got it in there already.
