I like gilt-leaf archdruid so I can steal my opponent's land. Also a big fan of Kaysa as she is an elf and pumps all your green creatures. HUGE fan of Skyshroud Poacher - pay 3, get an elf in play, such as Quirion Ranger. Return a forest to untap the Poacher and repeat. Tutoring for any two elves for 5 mana in one turn is pretty sweet.
I have been getting into pauper and I like playing wacky decks. In our group, pauper is an uncommon creature as commander and all other cards are common. I had the idea this morning of throwing around instants and sorceries with X in the casting costs. Obviously I will need lots of ways to ramp mana up.
Questions:
1. Any recommendations on a general? I was thinking of Transguild Courier or Fusion Elemental, as they let me play all five colors.
2. Any good cards that let me get those sorceries back, use them again, etc? I know of Archaeomancer, Déjà Vu,
For white, I am using Springjack Shepherd with lots of ways to bring him back into play, bounce to my hand, etc. I tend to get lots and lots of goats, which I can pump up
How about Sink into Takenuma? Seems like you could get your opponent to discard, fill up your hand with swamps, discard them and exile them for 'tog pumps...
Regarding Ezuri, Renegade Leader as a general... That was the first EDH deck I built. It had Kamahl, Fist of Krosa originally as the general until Ezuri came out. All elves, except for Skyshroud Poacher so I can search out other elves.
Most of the people I play with consider it a damn good EDH deck and I usually win with it.

I assume if I exile my shepherd, I can play it from the exile zone, get more goats, and also get it back if JtN leaves the battlefield?
