Yeah I was looking for recommendations. I like Experiment One over Champ simply because Supreme Verdict is huge where I play FNM and giving him Regenerate seems good to me, especially how easy it is to evolve him. Thank you for the help. I will add more to my first post when I get a chance.
Aurelia, though not the largest angel out there more than makes up for it with her devastating suite of abilities. As a Boros, she symbolizes her guild's philosophy of fighting as a team. Ideally she swoops onto the battlefield with an army waiting for her to lead them into the final surge (and to no doubt trigger tons of Battalion abilities).
Of course, being able to potentially deal 6 hasty damage in the air all by herself isn't too shabby.
I definitely like this description of her. I guess I am forgetting that Restoration Angel isn't from the City of Ravnica. I was just trying to see what everyone else thought about it.
I have been testing with Aurelia, the Warleader and she is an awesome finisher with her haste and combat trick. I think that she would have been one of the best cards in Gatecrash as a 4/4. She is a Warleader. Restoration Angel should not be spared from a Warleader. Does anyone agree that Aurelia as a 4/4 with/without vigilance would have been a little more reasonable?
Splash white and use Selesnya Charm. Matches don't last super long so people usually tap out for Obzedat. When they do, S-Charm him and watch them cringe. While that may not always work, its a very reasonable solution.
Experiment One because of the interaction with other Humans in standard. I don't know how many times:
T1: Experiment One
T2: Burning Tree to Gore-house Chainwaker
T3: Mayor of Avabruck
T4: Game
I use Skullcrack and then declare attackers while they have a Thragtusk out. They block with the Thragtusk then do Restoration Angel targeting Thragtusk and blah blah blah (sorry but its the most boring and synergistic thing in Magic). Since "Damage can't be prevented due to Skullcrack, where does this floating "attack" go?
Making arguments for this card in a competitive format is silly. Yes, given several turns untouched, this could become an issue. Would you rather play this over Thundermaw Hellkite? Maybe if this thing cost 1RWW or something it'd be worth a doubletake, but it's not Bitterblossom. It's a very slow card, even with ramp, that is outclassed by a lot of other choices.
Comparing 4 Thragtusk cast in succession with this thing out is also kind of silly. Yes, you do have all the chump blockers you'll ever need, but, you'll probably lose anyway, as you'd need like 10 turns before you could even begin to put a dent in the opponent's life total. Sure you might have other cards, Gavony Township could make a big difference, but it's also not like the other player doesn't have other stuff to do. Even without a way to remove the enchantment, all they'd need is a small Bonfire or large Fury and it's pretty much game over.
Then again, Selesnya Charm is a thing (for Thundermaw)...so is Boros Charm now.
That's what I'm saying. I didn't name it because of the simple fact that in comparison with this, it makes Thragtusk easier to play around. imo. I mean I don't know much about the game but if Sphere of Safety can see some play, I'm sure this can as well. People are assuming you are going to play this without any support around it, in standard.

If you were trying to be funny, it didn't work.

Has happened.
Scenario I thought of in my head:
I use Skullcrack and then declare attackers while they have a Thragtusk out. They block with the Thragtusk then do Restoration Angel targeting Thragtusk and blah blah blah (sorry but its the most boring and synergistic thing in Magic). Since "Damage can't be prevented due to Skullcrack, where does this floating "attack" go?
