Put it as a 1-2 of in a R/G Ramp burn deck with Xenagos, the Reveler. Double Atarka's Command seem silly; 6 Dmg and +2/+2 and reach for your creatures doesn't sound like a gimmick combat trick. I'm brewing something because this card is just fun to dream with lol
It's worded the way it is because they don't want someone to trigger the veil two or three times, drop a planeswalker and plus it for every time the veil was activated. That's why it says once more. It doesn't care about you triggering it repeatedly as long as the planeswalkers have all been casted and are in play.
I think that it will be more. When dealing with a block tied to Greco-Roman mythology, there should be a lot of individuals who are represented. People may say that Heroes' Podium is an EDH card but this is a card that you would see at the end of a block, in my opinion (I have only played for two years so I know nothing). There was at least three individuals in BNG alone with flavorful text. So with the question that Harbinger asked, there will already be more legendaries. I just want them to end the block right. Maybe throw some Brimaz-esque legends for each color? I don't know
The only reason why I am bringing this question up is because of how many individuals are quoted throughout Theros block's flavor text. "Prokopios, Astronomer of Meletis", "Olexa of the Twelve", etc. These can all serve as stand alone cards that can paint an image within someone's head. Does anyone else think that JOU will have more legendary creatures due to how deep we are supposed to dive into the story?
I guess copying an opponent's Desecration Demon with the minotaur's effect isn't good enough. Should have been 4/4 and did the inspiration for no cost, I guess.
All minotaurs need is a solid 2 drop and a legendary.
