ISB, was that all one shift? Aren't there labor laws that make that length illegal? I know my dad (an over the road truck driver) is only allowed to drive 11 hours and work thirteen (gas, bookkeeping, etc,) and that's a labor-intensive blue collar job.

That's because truck drivers are limited to how much they can drive in order to attempt and force them to do crazy things like get sleep and drive only when fully awake and focused. Creative book-keeping can get around this, though the Fed is trying to make it harder to fudge their numbers.

I don't think it's that people don't want to ban cards, it's that up until now, there hasn't been meaningful discussion on unifying the format so banning hasn't been given much thought.

On second thought, I think I'm firmly on the side of cards that have been printed in common only. I was doing a Gatherer search, and there's a lot of uncommon/rare cards that have never been printed in common. This rule would give us access to Exile, though, and a whole host of Legends and Portal generals that are now uncommon (plus Narwhal FTW!).

You're right, although I don't think there is big difference between degenerately broken and highly-tuned competitive in Pauper EDH. We don't have same kind of powerhouse cards to break as regular EDH, so those degenerate decks might be pretty much nonexistent.
The point's still that the decks need to be tuned and effective in test games. It tells us nothing if Invisible Stalker + 61 randomly asserted blue commons can't win.

Dunno whether the Imp is actually better than Viral Drake in multiplayer. After a few hits with Drake the deck could just sit back in draw-go mode and proliferate for the win, and blue is pretty strong in pauper. Flesh-Eater Imp isn't bad at all, but I don't know if it as good with multiple opponents. In duels it might be the best one, though.

Absolutely agree that Viral being able to proliferate is awesome, and after pinging each player once, all he needs is to sit back and dump UU6 a turn for a few turns. My point was more that the density of black infect far outclasses blue. I've thought a little about a Pauper infect deck, and I was going to run Esper.

Disturbed Burial - while graveyard removal is important, I think that this is a little crazy all in all to be able to just continue to recover creatures turn after turn. There is very little creature exile in pauper. I could maybe see this one staying just because of like just about all graveyard removal is still playable in this format but still... it is a card that gets a lot of abuse.

Or man, that card is awesome!

Well, right off the bat, 49 lands is way to much. I usually run 37-39 depending on my curve and how essential it is that I hit every land drop. You're going control, so I'd probably run 39. That frees up 10 slots. I also counted 97 main deck cards (you list Numot in there). Fulminator Mage has a black color identity so he's out as well. Horned Helm has green in activation cost so it's illegal as well. So that's what, 4 more slots?

Since it looks like you're really want to control the board, I'd fill them with counterspells. Personally, I hate Cancel, and even Counterspell, because they JUST counter the spell. My first four counterspells I run are Spell Crumple and Hinder for tuck, and Dissipate and Faerie Trickery for exiling spells. You're also going to want Cryptic Command as well. After that it's just personal preference. I also noticed you run Propaganda but not Ghostly Prison.

The Fulminator Mage can become Dwarven Miner.

Spark and Hellspark Elemental are weak in EDH. Since you're punishing people for having land, how about Zo-Zu the Punisher?

Castle is ok, but your creature count is tiny so its not that great. Make it Elesh Norn and you win while your opponents lose.

I'd also cut Prophetic Prism, the Rituals, Unsummon, Elemental Appeal, Reverse Damage and Twisted Image, as these one time use spells don't offer much of an advantage.

Things I'd add: time magic (extra turn spells) to take advantage of when you're ahead with Numot or helping to catch up when you're not. Spells/creatures that have a greater effect. Remember, you don't have one opponent at 20 life, you have 3 at 40 life. You also need a back up plan if Numot can't come out and play (whether he gets too expensive, tucked, or Pithing Needled). The three color appropriate Titans are a good place to start.

Other than that, check the other Numot deck lists and see what you like out of them. And keep a positive table demeanor. Players are going to hate it if you wreck their mana base, but if they're enjoying themselves it won't be as bad (hopefully). Good luck.

Just a word of advice, since you posted this in the casual section: I don't know what your meta is like, but in most metas this would be considered a competitive deck. Between your goal of blowing up lands and Winter Orb, people will be gunning for you every game you bring that deck. As I said, I don't know your meta, but we had a guy who ran Numot and he got targeted every game until he quit playing that deck.

Well ABU Games has Clone at $499.99 and Control Magic at $399.99, assuming NM Condition.

    EDIT: Basically Ninja'd.

EDIT 2: Wow, for comparison, they sell the famed "Blue Hurricane" for $4999.99!

What's the deal with those two? Why are they so expensive?

    Edit: Mevermind. Google is tech.

Yeah, especially if you already have all three standard Swords of Herp and Derp.

At this point they just look like tin foil hat nuts. I mean, unless they want to take swing at Curiosity, they're debating something fifty years old. Besides, so what if they faked it. If it wasn't for NASA, we wouldn't have Tang right now.

If you're playing a deck with a decent creature count and like to keep lots of free mana open, it's a good card. MY biggest issue with it is that the 4 mana you have to keep open on the off-chance you MAY use it is a downside.

The best part about it is that it triggers for every creature that hits your yard, and it doesn't have to stay on the creature. So if someone wraths the board, you bring back a creature for every 4 mana you have.

nurse.jason is spot on. With Rhys, all eyes will be on you. So you either go early or late. As jason said, if you go early you force early removal, which will ultimately help you later on when they run out of removal. Waiting only lets them capitalize on a *** wiping out everything you've done over the past few turns. A lot of people playing Rhys will overextend or get upset that he eats removal so much. Build like Rhys is a 5/7 drop and you'll be better off.

Are you trying to build a netdeck using as many cards as you already own? Because without knowing your playstyle, any suggestion is just going to be a wild stab based on personal preferences.

What colors do you like playing? What is your preferred style of play? Are there any cards which you are excited to build around? Ignoring budgets, do you like any of the decks you saw?

Malachite Talisman and Onyx Talisman. The whole cycle is pretty weak, but these two stand out because of the shenanigans you can pull with a stacked Gaea's Cradle/Cabal Coffers.

That is pretty cool. Looks like it would take some setup to flood your pool with mana, but the Gen-Wave/Exsanguinate would be worth it.

I'm with you on Rupture Spire. It's nice for extra fixing but slow. I cut the Lair already for that reason, Rupture is probably next. Realistically, I could probably cut it now. Maybe for a Maze of Ith?
