Another example of people who do not understand the EDH ban list, big shocker. You cannot stop people from being tools, or playing combo. Sundering Titan in NOT a may ability, so it is nuking 10 lands anytime it hits. If there are 2 plains out, and the guy is mana screwed anyway, you MUST hit him. That does not make for fun game play.
Which is a damned shame, thing will never get banned, regardless of how busted it is, because he's one out of x number of people that actually have a semi-legit use for the card and he wants to keep it in his deck.

I can compare them to tooth and nail. For one, mana cost is irrelevant in this format since everyone and their dog is ramping to turn 5 tooth and nails. I'll give you that it's instant. Tooth and nail is literally cast and assemble combo in one step.
Combo players are still gonna combo, you can't stop that, the only thing the banlist can stop is the stupid stuff like GB.

Explain why GB is "stupid" but Gifts is fine? You have to pay to get card draw with GB, and its not even a tutor. I think GB is busted , but so is Gifts, explain why I am wrong.
Moving right along, I say we unban gifts ungiven because it has legitimate uses just like tooth and nail and hermit druid. Just like those two cards, you can choose whether to go combo or not to go combo. Yeah I know you can tutor a combo and two recursion pieces blah blah blah.
