That makes sense, thanks for the reply. As for "my meta" legacy really isn't much of a thing around here. There are very occasional tournaments, but not enough for the meta to evolve much locally as far as I know. Of course, I don't currently play any eternal formats, so I could be way off. Live and learn I guess.
I was looking over the modern thread for this deck, and Aura Finesse seemed like a very powerful interaction for this deck, specifically the ability to move an aura off the researchers and onto one of the hexproofs. Would it be worth subbing in a miser's copy for the drake? More to the point, is it powerful enough to try to make it a two of? I haven't had a chance to sleeve this up and try it, but it looks like a solid way to try and break into legacy and/or modern on a budget.
One final question, for someone new to looking at eternal formats, what should I be looking at when building a sideboard for this? As a combo deck, is it just too tight to bother sideboarding? I honestly can't see much that can stand to go from the list, it looks like the sort of deck that just does what it does, and wins or looses on the strength of the combo.
