This is my first real attempt at making a competitive deck so please bear with me.
Any and all suggestions will be taken into consideration. I am looking to make this a work in progress that will produce a deck that is legal until the removal of Innistrad Block.
This is a turn 3+ damaging creature deck with a lot of regenerate elements and creature return. I added in Tragic Slip, Oblivion Ring, Mutilate, Tormod's Crypt and Sever the Bloodline for removal.
One of my favourite cards of the reprints in the Magic 2013 set is the Phylactery Lich which I use in combination with the Ring of Xathrid and Gravecrawler's.
Grimoire is added in for a late game threat.
Shimian Specter, another reprint is a 1 hit wonder I wanted in the deck since the new addition of the Ring of Xathrid which provides safety to the amazing effect. ( I also wanted some more flyers)
The last reprint which is also an amazing card : Vampire Nighthawk, combined with the Ring of Xathrid we now have a Flying, Deathtouch, Lifelink, regenerate and gain +1/+1 on upkeep. (Holy crap).
