My vote would be to reprint items from the reserve list that are valued at 10$ or under. Some items are completely hoarded by collectors for their value, which disgusts me, but that's their choice and their business. I feel that the reserve list should only protect a few cards, and then the less worthwhile ones can be reprinted.
Because Hermit Druid is banned in legacy, while all the other 2 drops are legal in both legacy and modern. Besides, almost every deck that runs green runs Goyf, but not every green deck need the druid
Ok, so then the list would be something close to
Vendilion Clique
Knight of the Reliquary
Geist of Saint Traft
Phyrexian Negator (less so now)
Eternal Witness
Imperial Recruiter
Goblin Matron
Vampire Nighthawk (in terms of straight up value for cmc, and how good it is in limited)
Kitchen Finks
To be honest, I was kind of hoping to nail down a card for each colour, but that doesn't seem feasible in terms of Modern or Legacy play.
My question is then what could be considered The Broken 3 Drops. Off the top of my head I can only think of a few, blue's would probably be Vendilion Clique, and Eternal Witness in green. White's might be Mirrian Crusader, though I'm not sure. Black, if it has one, might be Vampire Nighthawk, but this is stretching a little bit, and I'm not sure about Red: maybe Goblin Sharpshooter or something gobliny? Let me know what you think...
I'm not sure a lot of this is right. NO RUG was killed off by the return of RUG Delver/Tempo Thresh. NO RUG dies to heavy mana disruption (Goblins also crushes NO RUG). The printing of Terminus was a nail in the coffin.
So basically you just said nothing we said was right, and then summarized half of what was already here
Natural Order decks require Natural Order to resolve to win, in many cases. That's not saying they can't win without it: NO RUG and NO Bant both had Tarmogoyf and Vendillion Clique, which will win games. However, if the Natural Order gets countered it is much more difficult to win, compared to how difficult it is for Stoneblade if Stoneforge Mystic gets countered.
In addition, relying on 1 card for your combo makes you vulnerable to hate, (Show and Tell.dec also runs Sneak Attack, so cards like Meddling Mage are less effective against it)
There is a lot of disruption effects in the current meta, with BUg and Junk both having good hand and field control, while UW Stoneblade has Swords to Plowshares, Jace the Mind Sculptor, and counterspells. RUG Delver also has a significant amount of counters, so resolving a Natural Order against many decks is very difficult. Show and Tell is easier because it requires less mana and doesn't require a creature sacrifice either, so it isn't shut off it your mana dorks are removed.
Third turn Progenitus is no where near as powerful as turn 2 Emrakul or Grislebrand in Show and Tell.dec, so it has fallen to give way to that.
Finally, it is still vulnerable to sacrifice effects like Lilliana of the Veil, so Progenitus might not be sticking around long.
All this said, NO still has a home in NO Elves, which is different than combo Elves in that it doesn't want to draw it's library and only runs 10 lands, instead it drops a few early threats and NOs into Progenitus, Craterhoof, Regal Force, Terrastodon, or whatever else will win it the game quickly.
This might not be a rules question as a philosophical question about the rules.
With a card like Pyrokinesis, how come I cannot choose to target something for 0 damage, assuming I had other targets as well. Why can I not split the damage evenly between enemy targets, and then target my creature equiped with Livewire Lash for 0 damage.
I understand fractional points of damage and why that can't be done, but this seems silly.
I totally understand if this isn't the right place for this, so mods please move if it's in the wrong spot.
Bant can still work, but as mentioned it's difficult to win multiple matches off pure skill, as it does wear you out mentally. Some Natural Order builds do have some potential, as there are only few a slight differences between No RUG and NO Bant.
However, Maverick is faster and better against other blue decks (Choke in sideboard) whereas Stoneblade has more resiliency and a better chance against combo, and agro postboard in some builds (Terminus in board, possible transformative sideboard into CounterTop).
Woah now, the original RGD format is pretty widely regarded as one of the best, if not the best, draft formats ever. I think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone (else?) who played the format extensively that also found it horrible for drafting. It had a lot of depth and strategy, and a lot of unique decks. The format was fun, and very balanced.
Don't forget Alara block, which was quite similar and also a blast to draft.

This is supposed to be about creatures.

Natural Orders? 25-30 each.

I control Elspeth, Knight-Errant and Tamiyo the Moon Sage.
A) Can my planeswalkers even still be attacked now, since they're creatures.
B) Can my Elspeth Block the creature attacking Tamiyo?
"Are you done?"
Also, crap, you beat me to it.
