You mention that the build you've posted is more suited to creature heavy metas, any recommendations for combo heavy metas? Everyone at my local shop either plays combo or RUG delver :/
My biggest fear is how Leyline just absolutely shuts down that entire deck.
I was gonna build 4-land dredge but never found my way out of it.
Also opponent's targeted discard also is problematic for this version.
I'm far more interested in the Oops, all spells. Which resemble the boo berry combos of earlier articles

I love the Cascabalance deck! I was getting bored with my other decks and stopped playing (since your last article coincidentally!). I've always wanted to play with the cascade mechanic, but the Hypergenesis deck wasn't as good without the expensive Show and Tell, and Living End just coped too much GY hate.
Just took the Aura Gnarly for a spin, and discovered how hard things are to remove. At first I had my doubts of its competitiveness, but then realised that although I can dismember a Baneslayer, I can't handle a 1/1 Ledgewalker with two Rancors.
Btw, I proxied some Argothian Enchantresses for funsies to improve the deck
Haha great job! Very fun decks for me to introduce new players to. I think that super budget decks provide great ideas to build upon, but aren't comp ready.
Perhaps a single line summary of how to improve the decks would be a great addition.
By the way, I have a wicked idea for a competitive legacy budget deck, will send you PM to not embarass myself haha

FYI I played your "spring tide" budget list at a local Legacy night and didn't actually come last even in the meta of dredge, sneak attack and UW stoneblade.
Awesome to read another one of your articles mate! I've been brewing a Boros aggro deck myself actually, and was wondering how come you left out Anax and Cymede? Granted my deck is more along the lines of heroic and auras thanks to Theors, but still A&C and Figure of Destiny have closed out so many games for me. Just a thought...
