It's not exactly "Sigarda Winter" at the moment. One card making minor sideboard showings in one, maybe two decks, is hardly a reason to shut an idea down. I for one think it's neat, but I'd have to see an actual list before I said anything definitive. One could do a lot though, so it may be worth it. I feel like Gatecrash will add whatever tools you're lacking if it doesn't work out now.
You cast your spell, and see everything in the roon. In the cieling is a bunch of bats. In the moat is a large sea serpent, and a treasure chect. In the trasure chest in a green potion and a red potion
Silvergill Superiority1U
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant creature
Enchanted creature has Islandwalk and protection from blue. This effect doesn't remove Silvergill Superiority. The silvergill tribe of merfolk are known for being nigh untouchable in the water. To enter the water is to be at their mercy.
Using the power of talented merfolk, I'll enchant myself and take a dive into the moat. Hopefully I'll retrieve the loot and avoid the serpent and then come out on the other side.
[Without the merfolk flavoring, where would you place this combination of abilities? I've been conflicted about that...]
I've done only about two sealed events and maybe ten drafts, in that I've pulled a playset of Abrupt Decay and more than half a dozen Carnival Hellsteads. I think 8 of them...
So here's something I've been wondering, why do so many decks run a basic Mountain? I don't feel like it really is so helpful as to be mandatory and it would seem like a Forest and Plains would be better to play through Blood Moon, the premier nonbasic hate. It seems in most cases playing through a prominent sideboard card would be more relevant than a single extra red source. I may just be distracted by my own personal experience, but it seems like every other lost game I see is because of Blood Moon...

Draw a card.
I'll light the cave and see what's up, don't want to try and do anything dangerous when I don't know what's around me. Maybe I can figure out if there's actually anything chirping up there.
(On an off note, the wording was a tad confusing to me. I believe this would be appropriate though, from what I've seen with cards like Spy Network.)

Using a little trick learned from wild Ouphe's, I'll try and disable the mechanism expelling the fire permanently. If it works I'll do some poking around inside. For curiosity's sake.
we're doing black. we run through each color, a-z, then do the next color, a-z.

Made a change, liked Apathy better, but gotta roll with what's there I guess. And in interest of keeping the game going:
Charnel House Lurker2B
Creature - Zombie Assassin [U]
Deathtouch, First Strike
Discard a Creature card: Return Charnel House Lurker from your graveyard to your hand.

Too good with the recursion? Seems like it could get out of hand, especially in limited. I'm rather hesitant about this because it seems like it could lead to clogged boards and repetitive game state, I suppose that's why most cheap recursive creatures can't block. Perhaps the cost makes up for it, I don't know... It may need a steeper cost for the recursion ability to stop it from stalling games out. I may be overreacting though.

When Arch-Ibald, the Conquerer Supreme becomes attached to a nontoken creature, put the top card of your library into your graveyard.
Equipped creature gets +X/+X where X is the number of Plains you control.
[This last word seemed kind of obvious, but what are the plans for making the self-mill relevant?]

I kind of feel that being Legendary covers that, and that adding a generally irrelevant ETB effect wouldn't really serve to cover that.
