Quote from max_vergara »Also he's got some serious casual demand as he's part of a very popular mechanic such as a tokens and also a very good 4-drop in a casual deck.
What about Push now? We're months into Aether Revolt and it doesn't seem it'll go down soon, but may go up? It's premium removal and widely used across formats.
Nowhere but up. If you want a chuckle, go back in this thread and some of the others on the board when Push was spoiled. People swearing up and down it would drop to 2 or 3 bucks after release. Until its reprinted it will go nowhere but up. How much remains to be seen.

Yup. Descendents path plus munda is fun too.

Would have to agree with sparki, pile A looks more playable and fun.

Round 1 Cantrip Twin 2-0
G1 was horribly slow but he was just playing a massive amount of cantrips so I powered through on him
G2 Opened with rakdos charm , eventually drew into a spellskite. He was doing small beats and got me down to 5 with two pestermites and a kiki out and he decided to combo, I couldn't redirect or I would lose to the pestermites in the air. 100,000 damage is fun too though.
Side: +3 Rakdos Charm +2 Spellskite -1 Darkblast -1 Gurmag angler -1 Grisly salvage
Round 2 Burn 2-0
G1 played t1 plains so I basically got a free start because they lacked on lands. Gnaw to the bone saved me.
G2 Opened with a gnaw and drew into a second one, they played an eidolon and I kept casting gnaws to keep my life up while an angler beat face. Gained a total of 38 (-6 from when eidolon was out)
Side: -1 Gurmag Angler -1 Murderous cut -1 darkblast +1 Vengeful Pharaoh +1 Gnaw to the bone +2 Spellskite
Round 3 Zoo 2-1
G1 outraced them plus removal kept put them out of creatures and an empty hand, angler won me this one. I was at 1
G2 they outraced me, didn't have the removal/lifegain to keep up
G3 Gnaw to the bone in hand plus solid dredge brought me out ahead.
Side: -1 Gurmag Angler -1 Murderous cut -1 darkblast +1 Vengeful Pharaoh +1 Gnaw to the bone +2 Spellskite
Round 4 Abzan 2-1
G1 He played a Anafenza, the foremost and I dropped it with a abrupt decay, beat face with two bloodghasts and an angler. He never recovered.
G2 Blood Baron of Vizkopa is a nasty scary sideboard card. No way for me to deal with it and it is lifegain. He got a board presence of massive creatures. I had to toolkit I needed to deal with it just not enough mana. Hand was: Lotleth troll vengevine Gravecrawler vengeful Pharaoh Gnaw to the bone. With three vengevines and a gnaw in the graveyard but only three lands and he had me reeling.
G3 hardcasted two vengevines, nothing before t4. He got his Blood Baron of Vizkopa but I already had him down to 14 and got two more hits in with a vengevine down to 6, 5 with a fetch. he spit out a Restoration angel and Voice but I had an abrupt decay in hand, and two vengevines, two gravecrawlers, bloodghast, angler, and 9/9 Gravetroll out. He conceded.
Side: -1 Grisly Salvage -1 darkblast +1 Vengeful Pharaoh +1 Gnaw to the bone +1 Erebos, God of the Dead
All siding was Done after game 1.
Overall I was super satisfied with how the deck performed, angler does work against aggro decks and gives the deck more of a win-con than just vengevines.

@kZhang foil jades probably because foils tend to hold their value and he sees play on a lot of cubes and places outside of standard to help that price. I really don't see any potential for lily to go up any dramatic amount anytime soon.

What format are you playing? I've sold my soul both kidneys and my left eye.

Trade 1: Pile abbot has about $2 on the piledriver. If you're using abbot for a deck then pick him up, otherwise I would take the piledriver IMO.
Trade 2: I see a lot I like but personally pile A gets way more attention from me. Harbinger is going to be with merfolk long term it will go up. Collected company is played a ton in modern and will hold it's value out of standard Kolaghans command sees pretty decent play in modern amongst grixis decks and the like, it might drop a little bit with rotation but thats a long time yet. Fetches are fetches and I always take the land. The only thing with potential I see in pile B are sword and twin. I see sword maybe seeing some more play with standard and commander but thats it. Twin will slowly rise again until its reprinted but Liliana, gideon, and leap are all poised to fall flat on their face when they drop out in my opinion. This whole thing is assuming your holding onto these long term.
