    I agree with this

If I was you, I would take some time and plan out an archtype for each colored pair.
    For example - White= weenie, White/blue = control, Blue= tempo, Blue/Black = mill, Black/red = Aggro
Then decide the size you want to make the cube. Determine the size of each color say 60 cards for each color, for blue you would give it 15 cards for "control", 15 cards for "tempo", 15 cards for the mill, and 15 cards that you just like.
    Then test and adjust.

I'm also hugely disappointed with these lands. They're fine, but they feel like they'll be replacing placeholder lands with different placeholder lands. Instead, I was hoping for a cycle that would really be worth running.

This is exactly how I feel as well.

Pookey (the nickname my wife gave this guy) has been performing really well for us.
Most of the time the card is a "three for one" sometimes more. If you play him and he gets eaten by removal, that sucks but that's true with any creature without etb effects. That said he is without a doubt going in my 720.

In my multi-player cube, this card is awesome. Generally you can get it out. and with all of the tokens and planeswalkers we have in the cube it works great.
I love being able to play a planeswalker and ultimate it instantly. That is great fun.
It doesn't fit into every deck, but the decks it does fit into make great use out of it.

for me he has shown up about 9 games, he has only drawn about 2 maybe 3 cards. but he also seems to always do 6 or more damage each time he is cast.

In one game in particular the player had Maw of the Obzedat and Gravecrawler and a couple other random extort creatures and did some pretty sick things with sacking the crawler casting it, extorting it, repeating that a couple times then attacking with the pumped up team. The added bonus of being a zombie really made this possible.

So I was looking at possible cut for him but currently he has been working better in the last few games. Particularly the one above. So I think I will give him a little more time in there. My current view is that he is a 2/1 that generally does 6 damage with a possible upside of drawing cards but also a possible upside of recursion combo's with gravecrawler, or He eats removal or trades. For 2 mana that seems fine for now. If I had more zombie's in my cube it may not be as important but I do not have that many so it is a factor.

85% of the time I draft with 4 players.
I have found that with only four players drafting works better if you have smaller sized packs but with more packs.
instead of a normal 3 packs with 15. when we are four players we draft with 5 packs of 9 cards. you still end up with the same amount of cards but you end up with a much more coherent set of cards for making a deck. You also eliminate having the pack wheeling the table so much. With a 15 card pack the third and four wheel are generally junk. Where as with 9 card packs you get a few extra first picks and you get one real wheel and stuck with the last card in the pack.
If we have three players, we do a 90 card sealed pool. My cube is designed specifically for multiplayer fun. I have never tried it with just two players.

    overall it was a fail.
We have two stores in my area.
The first store received a single box only. so no box sales. he is only selling a max of 3 packs per customer and the cost per pack was $13 + 12% tax = $14.56. But since it was only a single box I bet by the time I am off work and go to his store he will be sold out.
The other store received 3 boxes and again are not doing box sales. They are holding a fnm draft with them tonight with the packs. He hasn't announced the cost of the draft at this time.
I understand this is a limited print run, but I can not believe how stupidly limited it is.

What's a decent way to proxy cards until I get them for this cube? Or is that frowned upon?

Talking about how and where to make proxy cards. Is like the first and second rule of fight club.

Talking about using proxies is ok.
I use proxies for any card equal to or over $50 in value, but I have had cards go missing and do not want that to happen again. I know some players do not like playing with or using proxies. Ask your play group what they think.

Why would anyone still run Blastoderm, and not even talk about Deadbridge Goliath. It is just a significantly better card IMHO. Am I missing something?

I all always thought it was stupid that clones had the unwritten text of "when cardname would enter the battlefield, instead sacrifice it, your opponent must sacrifice a legendary creature of your choice, This effect can not be prevented". This rule completely fixes this.

Flavorwise the "I saw myself now both of me must commit suicide" was a stupid rule and a huge flavor fail. I really like the flavour of the new rule. In the Game, Since we are travelling thru multiple planes of existence, it would make sense that we may encounter different versions of the same character. Parallel universes, multiple time dimensions etc. Like in Star trek when they have the evil Goatee versions of themselves, or in comics with Crisis on Infinate Earths having good/bad/multiple versions of the same characters. I think of this as a much better way flavorwise of dealing with legendaries. I still think you should be able to clone your own legendary dude but this new rule is a huge step forward flavorwise regardless.

As for specific cards being much better now, I am not that worried, I am sure new answers will pop up for them, New answers always do. If not, I will just remove the problems from my cube.

This card has performed extremely well for me in my cube.
My initial thought was I would test it but stolen ID would win out on the spot for this effect. I was wrong. Being Simic has helped this card because blue has much stronger competition then simic does (for me anyway). I also thought that the mana cost was going to be too high but being in green, the cost doesn't seem to matter that much.
In actual play (multiplayer) so far this card has been cast at 6, if you are able to untap with it, you win the game. It has made 3 different decks and when cast if not answered before the player with it untaps, they have won.

It depends on why you are doing this. If you, as I suspect, want to put them in this section because these cards are too flexible (from a mana standpoint) to be considered mono, then leaving out the off color kickers and flashback cards is the right call, as they are at least as narrow as a monocolored card.

That is the main reason why we are thinking of making this new section.

I personally consider Phyrexian Mana to be in the same space as hybrid mana.
I have been thinking of making a new section in the organization of my cube. Currently I have 5 colors, artifact, land, & gold sections.
I have been toying with the idea of a ninth section.

    Basically an alternate cost section.
Putting in Phyrexian mana, Hybrid mana, the 2 colorless or one color hybrid, Split cards, and any other card I would want that has alternate costs would be put in this section.

I haven't done it yet, my group is still discussing if including off color flashback/kickers in this section would be the way to go or not. (We are leaning at not)

The problem I had in the past with having just a hybrid section, was lack of good cards in certian colors to balance, but including other alternate costed cards I think will help with this problem.
