if you're sticking to color identity, which you may not be to include more frog cards, your theft would probably come from more black reanimation vs mind control.
also, i will be alt arting this card as soon as I get it now :). Should add it to my sea monsters deck.
haven't been active here for a while; and playing a lot less magic overall.
nothing has really perked my ears for new cards that have come out.
the card from origins I liked to a point was call of the full moon; +5/+4 on uril with trample for 2 mana makes it a 2 mana rancor in red; however, the drawback of falling off if anyone casts 2 spells is so painful. I want to make it work, and it might be worthwhile enough as a cheap finisher aura or with some aura return, such as the new starfield of nyx. I am not a fan of this card, because most of the enchantments are auras and you don't want your enchantments becoming creatures because that means more removal can affect them. so even that enchantment was not a great addition for this deck.
I can't think of anything from khans that I added
so ya the only big updates I've made to the deck was getting foils and signatures from artists at grand prix events; all the auras except vow of wilderness and instill energy are foiled
Just wanted to say congrats to Sheldon on entering the Judge hall of Fame.
Your continued devotion to the EDH (Commander) community warrants me to tip my hat to you. I post this thread so that others here may do the same, if they choose.

there has been brought up a few times in the past. I forget who did actual testing (this is around new ravnica block i want to say) and tezzeret the seeker was a problem.
at that time it was due to him being able to find a mana rock and not be 'effected' by commander tax.
as others have outlined already, this is even worse with newer cards.
play her turn 2. attack on turn 3; worldly tutor for ulamog, the infinite gyre. chaos warp. T3 ulamog. Sure it's xhristmas landy fun times. but that's more what i wanted to see discussed. is everything going to be like these one time explosions or are there enough ways in R/x to generate a powerful advantage off of the new ruling.
You're aware that shuffling and revealing is a part of Chaos Warp and that you don't actually have time to change the top card in between those two?
I do, however with the new ruling with commanders not being shuffled into the library (well technically option not to shuffle), you never shuffle as part of chaos warp; you go to shuffle the permanent which replacement effect moves it to command zone, then reveal the top card; which would be set previously from the worldly tutor. [from my example].
EDIT - I would concede that if it was wording "shuffle permanent into its owner's library. If you do, then reveal the top..." then this would not work.
To be clear though, the Duel Commander rules are not official rules. The Comprehensive Rules list the rules for Commander and gives the one other place that has official information for Commander:
903. Commander
903.1. In the Commander variant, each deck is led by a legendary creature designated as that deck's commander. The Commander variant was created and popularized by fans; an independent rules
committee maintains additional resources at MTGCommander.net. The Commander variant uses all the normal rules for a Magic game, with the following additions.
in case, for those who are not aware, normal commander (so not just duel commander now) has removed the tuck and bounce rules with regard to commander.

Chaos Warp is cast on a general and the general goes to CZ. According to rule 701.16c: If an effect would cause a player to shuffle one or more specific objects into a library, but none of those objects are in the zone they are expected to be in, that library isn't shuffled.
This could mean some cool, fun, broken shenanigans with chaos warp/in response to chaos warp.
Thoughts?
thinking some kind of turn 3 eldrazi sort of 'What, just happened!?!'
looking at Gryff's boon though. it looks like white rancor.
would you consider another archetype of Flash; main color blue, secondary color green/white.
key cards: collected company, summoning trap, teferi, mage of zhalfir.
support cards of creatures with flash.
synergizes with fatty cheat, blink, tokens.
grave betrayal

some ideas for cards for the deck.
edge of autumn: ramp or late game double draw with cycle (double from commander trigger)
grimoire of the dead: alt-win con
undead gladiator: recurring draw effect and discard effect
silverglade pathfinder: recurring rampant growth with discard

There are ways that you can use logic to force your opponent to concede; there is a link in my Frankie Peanuts list/Guide/primer wanna-be (see sig)
Also, staying power is a great card

or a full art/textless vs a foil.
as far as promo goes; newer pre-release versions don't make a difference to me. only if the art is different will i make a choice on which goes in.
let's say avalance riders and a deck with some LD spells; after turn 4 you are blowing up 1 land per turn (not paying echo and recasting skirmisher)
I know you ay house rule for bannings, but I suggest you outline some general "fun" guidelines a la edh rules to guide players into this format.

the ruling given was to hinder stop players from saying this doesn't work like that.
