    I wonder if any one ever considered Stingscourger against reanimator? It seems pretty good against Depths combo as well.
    I'd rather do that than palm any ways, Iona still locks you out with palm.

    I'm looking to test scab-clan berserker against combo, and non creature decks, I think they are more reliable than eidolon since they are unilateral, and skred has no problem clearing a path for the renown.

    Legacy and Modern are extremely different for burn. Modern you're just pointing at the face and going full throttle, Legacy you more often need to point at other threats that will out pace you. You'll have access to much better spells, but your opponents will be doing crazier things as well. Net-deck a fetchless list and try it out on cockatrice or something and just get the feel for it. That is truely the best way to learn. And do your research on this site or MTGTheSource. Good luck and have fun.

    I can see this in burn or 8 whack, something that is explosive, but for skred, it just doesn't feel right. I love these kind of cards though!

    Its a meta call I think.
    Do you have to deal with those kind of combos, or do you deal with players who have very tappy decks? Playing a red deck you have to count on every little bit of damage adding up, that it doesn't do that much damage in one shot is probably a good thing, since it makes you less of a target.

    I would love to find a deck in modern that can play wildfire, but there just isn't enough, it doesn't fit skred, because skred depends on your land count, wildfire makes you sac lands as well, and if you had a scourge in play with out a relic on line it will put it in the grave.
    There just isn't enough synergy there. If you insist on playing this deck I would suggest cutting skred for roast or some other removal, and switching out Scourge for another threat. If only Modern had thran dynamo, or worn powerstone wildfire would be playable would be playable.

    Cause you can pitch cards, then cast darkdwellers to get value from the card you pitch.
    Its cute but compared to other 4 drops in the deck it just doesn't quite get there. Path is very much a thing in modern.

    Now that I look at it, they may be too good, perhaps Bevis only copies instants, and Butt-Head only copies Sorceries. Fireblast, into copy fireblast, then attack for one is a little much.

    If its a blind meta, why not go with a 1/1 split on needle, and roast.
    I have skite in the side, its been nice when I get it, but usually it has been a win more card, since match ups where I would bring it in, are already in my favor.

    I've played Derevi for the last year or so, and she is awesome! If you look at her stats its not impressive, but pounding one player to death with your little army, while locking another down ends games alot faster than you think. The stax side is powerful, but because it takes some setting up it keeps her from being too powerful. If you know what you're playing against, she isn't all that scary, when people tap out, and get caught by a winter orb with their pants down is when you see how powerful the deck can be.

    As for the infinite mana thing, if you have infinite mana, chances are you have some kind of a sac outlet, with Derevi alone, you can sac, recast, to tap down the entire table. I've forced many concession just by tapping down all opponents board during upkeep, while my board goes crazy. What makes her particularly powerful is that she enables engines, and is also a means to utilize the infinite mana.

    I think the chances are pretty low, on your scale if 10 is high, I would put it around 2-3. Although the price is as low as its going to get, so you're not risking much. I bought a set myself, not for speculation but if it does get unbanned I'll have the option to play it.

    The therapy/probe package shouldn't be under estimated, therapy can discard a fattie from your hand, as well as hit multiple cards from the opponent's hand, and probe replaces itself.

    skite beats bolt, and sucks up artifact removal, its been brought in against me many times, sure you can skred it, but I'd much rather skred, or spree what ever its protecting. Not every one runs roast. Against lantern I usually side out skred, because they don't have other creatures I can kill, and I keep in bolt so I can still aim for the dome, skite now eats up my artifact removal. Infect runs them main and/or side it is a thing against us.

    Birch - I reread your comment, I see you were talking about Kami costing two, I thought you were talking about chalice always costing two.
