This is a deck I've been working on that includes most of the best white cards in standard. The deck is pretty straightforward. You use Knight of the White Orchid and Thraben Inspector as card advantage. Eldrazi Displacer and Wall of Resurgence serve as both great defensive cards; plus, Displacer is also just a great creature against a lot of the cards in the format. Avacyn, Linvala, and Thought-Knot are great cards that help control the game. They are also some of the better creatures in the standard format. Silkwrap and Stasis Snare are decent removal cards against decks like Naya Midrange, Company, and Tokens. Declaration in Stone and Tragic Arrogance are both great board wipes/removal cards as well. Gideon is simply the best card in the format. It helps create creatures and defense so I can play cards like Avacyn and Linvala in the late game. Secure the Wastes is also fantastic way to control the board.
In the sideboard, Reality Smasher serves as a card that brings a more offensive side to the deck if I were to need that. I have another Thought-Knot in case I go against a more control or combo oriented deck. Anguished Unmaking is one of the better removal cards in the format, and it's there in case I need more removal. Hallowed Moonlight and Warping Wail are both great cards that help against Company and Tokens. Nahiri is also just excellent at providing both card advantage and defense.
There's the deck. It's been fun to run so far. It's usually a very competitive deck against the meta in standard. If you're looking for a deck that's original and decent against the meta, I'd recommend this list. I'm open to criticism and suggestions as well, so please give the deck some. One thing I can think of right off the top of my head is that this deck could be a lot better if I used Westvale Abbey because of my token generation and smaller creatures like Inspector and Knight. However, I'd have to think about how many I would want to run because I don't want to lose my accessibility to white mana. Anyways, thanks in advance for any advice. Also, thank you for reading.
Krond is most likely the best general for exiling permanents. I think a GW Midrange Enchantment deck would be a cool idea with the cards you said you liked.
Rarities are more important in magic because of limited. I'm pretty sure no such format exists in yu-gi-oh and they are solely to regulate the appearance of cards in boosters.
Alright, I'll ignore the source material then as far as rarity goes.
Also, I tried to make the cards have a similar rarity to the ones in the Yu-Gi-Oh set.
For example, Black Hole is an uncommon because its rarity is rare, which is basically an uncommon (compared to super rare, ultra rare, and secret rare.)
The question I want to ask is: Should I try to make the rarity as close to the source or make it closer to magic?
I decided to do this project because Yu-Gi-Oh was a game that covered most of our childhoods. Magic is something somewhat new to me (I've been playing for 6 years now, so not that new.) I just wanted to convert the cards from the first set of Yu-Gi-Oh into magic cards, so I could play them in a game that I love more so. Please give me feedback on how I did and feel free to correct things that I didn't see. Thanks!
I think, as far as the WW archetype goes, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben is considerably better of a general. It just does more. two cmc for two power, first strike, and makes Wrath of God happen on t5? Amazing!
I like it as a card and I agree it would most likely be a better general, but turn 1 Konda just seems so good.
That fury is a little to expensive. By then, the weenie player would have a buff down. I wish it was instant speed as well:(. Oh well, hopefully pyroclasm gets reprinted.
Yeah, now that I think about it wouldn't be good against weenie decks. Token decks though, that's a different story.
Archaeomancer - Will see some play for sure. Nefarox, Overlord of Grixis - As a commander I think he would be fun with, but as a stand alone card it is meh. Servant of Nefarox - meh, why not. Xathrid Gorgon - Interesting, I really want to play this card in a deck. Its ability is really cool. Masako the Humorless could be synergistic with it. Chandra's Fury - White Weenie/Token decks beware. Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker - Why did they reprint him? They could have just made a new Planeswalker...However, it's still a good card.
I don't really think this deck needs much of an explanation but basically what I'm trying to do is get bunch of dudes out and then pump them up. That is pretty much it. Please tell me your thoughts! Thanks ahead of time!

Only the one thing I have to say about Doran is that he is the Hardest of all the Rocks.

I will try to have an updated set by Friday.

EDIT: If anyone is interested, here is the actual yugioh set! http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Set_Card_Lists:Legend_of_Blue_Eyes_White_Dragon_(TCG-NA)
Also, I just want to clarify that I am not a yugioh fanboy. I don't really like the game at all infact, so I'm translating the sets into magic.
Creature - Human Wizard
:symtap:: Tap target creature, that creature doesn't untap during it's owner's next untap phase.
Next: David Bowie
I didn't realize it was so easy.
Here you guys go:

EDIT: I almost forgot, I give all credit to Kazuki Takahashi for the art. I will add his name at the bottom of cards later.
Well that would require me to upload every image to an image website, and I just don't have the time or patience to do that. Maybe later.
