Holm made Rhonda chase her around the ring like a boxer then took her right out. She looks exhausted as **** when she missed that take down. Holy had a game plan, and it was the total foil to Rhonda. Smart plays and a total victory for Holm.
Innistrad was a total flavor grand slam and I expect this to be the exact same. Innistrad was one of my favorite blocks simply from flavor so yes on this.
I think the bad taste in everyone's mouth from Battle and Ravnica will certainly taint the players' collective paradigm on the return sets. Just saying it now: this set will not have Snaps, Lili, or anything like it. It will do its own thing. Period. Get it through your thick heads now.
Wither
Whenever a creature with a toughness of zero or less is sent to the graveyard, it's controller discards a card.
When Malaise is put into a graveyard from anywhere, shuffle it into its owner's library.
3/3
IIW: Off color signature creatures (I.E. white demons, green sphinxes, and similar)
The UB list is really funky. Sidisi's Faithful is really good at not only being an Unsummon, but a 0/4 is really good against the early threats of Atarka Red, as they really can't get through it without pump or anything. Bloodsoaked Champion is great in a Standard without Sylvan Caryatid and Coursers keeping him at bay, and Sultai Emissary is good card advantage.
Liliana really shines here, as she was totally my pick for one of the better walkers from Origins--all of her abilities post flip are super relevant.
I am very impressed with this list and would probably play it without any changes at a tournament. Super cool deck. I was really gunning for a great Aristocrats list and this one certainly fills the role. Awesome stuff.
Whenever a creature you controls deals combat damage to a player, you may exile the top card of that player's library face down. You may look at those cards.
Sacrifice Psyche Disection: You may cast a card exiled with Psyche Disection.
Take an additional turn after this one. If you casted Epoch Perseverance from exile, take two additional turns instead.
When you start an additional turn, if Epoch Perseverance is suspended, remove a time counter from it.
Latern was literally a LOL GOT YOU deck and was featured on YouTube about a year before it took off it modern. Can it make it in legacy, probably--but not likely.
And I consider the story a result. Do you honestly think a deck in its infancy is going to take down a 5K and be the most oppressive deck ever on its first run?

The winner is Willows.
The others were good, two of them had lots of text and could have done things in a lot less words.
Next: Move a classic MtG race into another color
