Ah, sorry. I should mention, this is only made up of cards I had on hand. That's why there's a splattering of one-ofs. I was thinking going full on GW tokens, I have the playsets of Intangible Virtues and Midnight Haunting. And I ramp up to Flash In Craterhoof Behemoth? (which I have 4 of)
This deck was roughly slapped together because I was looking for something different to play at FNM this week.
Yeah, this is bad. I end up with 4-5 Flashed in dorks and nothing to cast. I was thinking of cutting the black and throwing in some Craterhoof Behemoths. Maybe filling out the curve with some Druid's Familiars or an Elderscale Wurm.
Any ideas? I have playsets of most commons/uncommons in standard.
Well, I'm trying to get into legacy with what looks like the funnest deck, Food Chain. The combo pieces themselves aren't that expensive. (Misthollow Griffin is 75 cents lol) But the deck runs 2 JtMS in the main and 2 Clique in the board.
I've replaced Forces with Remands and Goyfs with Quirion Dryads and Tropical Islands with Breeding Pools and that cut the price from ~$1600 to ~$650 with Jace, fetches and the Cliques being the bulk of that.
I'm just trying to get a deck together for as cheap as I can, hoping to eventually upgrade to forces and Goyfs and such.
I'm sad to him go. His commenting was one of the more interesting insights, and he had more of a clue what was going on in feature matches than some other commentators. M13 is an awesome core set, and his comment on Mana Leak and Signets being too strong is spot on - it's not where Modern Magic wants to be.
I think he'll still be commentating, although I'm not sure.
There are plans for a cube 10-5 only costing $5.

...I can't wait for my Breeding Pools. :3

And I have no idea what to use instead of Vendilion Clique.
EDIT: Darn, I meant to post this in the budget subforum.
Tell that to Tibalt.
Hah. Amusement.
I don't see any card as a 'mistake', I just think the timing was perhaps not right for it.

Shows how much I've changed eh?
I don't dismiss anything anymore after being proven wrong about 'Miracle'. ;3
I bow to you sir.
